Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the ethical approaches of teachers candidates to environmental issues and to study their demographic characteristics. The study group consists of 208 teachers candidates in the fields of biology, science, classroom, Turkish, social sciences, geography, private education and Arabic teaching. The data collection tool was developed by the researcher with the "Ethical Approaches to Environmental Problems Scale" and the "Personal Information Form" used. In the study, independent t-test and ANOVA were used for parametric tests. The scale of validity and reliability studies are made up of two sub-dimensions under the name of the "ecosentric" and "antroposentric" values. In the validity and reliability analysis of the measurement, the disclaimer factor analysis was carried out, the chronbach alpha reliability rate for the whole measurement was 0.93; the reliability rate for the ecosentric and antroposentric subdimensions was 0.92 and 0.92 respectively. At the end of the measurement, it is 47 substances and 5 in Likert type. According to the findings obtained in the study, the scores that the teacher candidates receive from an ecosentric point of view are imagistically higher. Ecosentric, antroposentric and total points they obtain have been found to make significant differences according to environmental lessons, club membership related to the environment, anxiety status, documentary monitoring, maternity branches and family income status variables.
