Abstract:

This study aims to compare the attitudes of class (SEC) and science (SEC) teachers candidates to renewable energy sources according to certain variables (gender, department, academic success, graduated high school type). In the study, a scanning model from quantum research methods was used. The study group consists of class and science knowledge teachers candidates studying at the Faculty of Education of a state university in the 2016-2017 educational-educational year. The total number of teachers candidates to participate in the study is 180, of which 101 are classmates, 79 are science knowledge teachers candidates. In the research, the sun is a data collection tool. The "Renewable Energy Attitude Scale" developed by (2013) has been used. When the research results are examined, the attitudes of teachers candidates towards the relevant renewable energy sources are generally positive. According to the gender variable, the statistically significant difference in the total score appears to be in favor of women teachers.
