İşe Angaje Olmanın Örgütsel Sessizlik Üzerindeki Etkisini Belirlemeye Yönelik Bir Araştırma

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, işe angaje olmanın örgütsel sessizlik üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Bu amaç çerçevesinde konu ile alakalı ölçekler kullanılarak, Elazığ İl merkezindeki ilkokullarda görev yapan 271 öğretmenden görüş alınmıştır.   Araştırmada tabakalı  örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin işe angaje olma durumlarını belirlemek için Schaufeli ve Bakker (2003) tarafından geliştirilen ve Köse (2016) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan İşe Angaje Olma Ölçeği; öğretmenlerin örgütsel sessizlik düzeylerini ortaya koymak amacıyla da Kahveci ve Demirtaş (2013) tarafından geliştirilen Örgütsel Sessizlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır.  Araştırma verilerini analiz etmek için yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, frekans, standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmış, tek yönlü varyans analizi, t-Testi, Korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğretmenlerin işe angaje olma düzeyleri ile örgütsel sessizliğe ilişkin görüşlerinin düşük düzeyde ilişkili oldukları ve işe angaje olma düzeylerinin örgütsel sessizliklerini düşük düzeyde yordadığı tespit edilmiştir.

A Study To Determine The Impact Of Being An Angaja On The Oral Silence

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the impact of engaging in work on organizational silence. In the framework of this objective, using the subject-related scales, 271 teachers who work in the primary schools in the Elazığ province center were viewed.   The study used the sample method. The study has developed by Schaufeli and Bakker (2003) and adapted by Köse (2016) to Turkey to determine the conditions of employment of teachers; the Organizational Silence Measure developed by Kahveci and Demirtaş (2013) has also been used to reveal the levels of organizational silence of teachers. To analyze the research data, the percentage, the arithmetic average, the frequency, the standard deviation values were calculated, the one-way variance analysis, the t-test, the correlation and the regression analysis were used. The results found that teachers’ views on employment involvement and organizational silence were linked to a low level, and that employment involvement levels undermined organizational silence.

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of work engagement on organizational silence. Within the framework of this purpose, opinions were obtained from 271 teachers working in primary schools in the city center of Elazığ by using the scales related to the subject. Stratified sampling method was used in the study. In the study, the Work Engagement Scale developed by Schaufeli and Bakker (2003) and adapted into Turkish by Köse (2016) to determine teachers' work engagement; Organizational Silence Scale developed by Kahveci and Demirtaş (2013) was used to reveal the organizational silence levels of teachers. To analyze the research data, percentage, arithmetic mean, frequency, standard deviation values were calculated, one-way analysis of variance, t-Test, correlation and regression analyzes were used. According to the results obtained, it was determined that teachers' work engagement levels and their views on organizational silence were lowly correlated, and work engagement levels predicted their organizational silence at a low level.
