2018 yılı itibariyle ilkokul ve ortaokul öğretim programları revize edilerek, programlarda birtakım yenilikler yapılmıştır. Öğretim programlarının temel unsurlarından biri olan değer, yapılan yeniliklere bağlı olarak etkilenmiştir. 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda 18 değer yer aldığı görülmektedir. Bu değerlerin kazandırılmasında sosyal bilgiler ders kitapları önemli bir işlevi üstlenmektedir. Bu araştırmada, 4. , 5. , 6 ve 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında değerlere yer verilme durumunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın deseni, durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırma, doküman inceleme yöntemi ile gerçekleşmiştir. Veriler, betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı ve Talim Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı tarafından onaylanan ve son 5 yıl süre kullanma kararı verilen sosyal bilgiler ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında sosyal bilgiler 4, 5, 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitapları olmak üzere toplam 4 kitap incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda her öğrenme alanında çeşitli değerlere yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. 4. sınıf ders kitabında en fazla dayanışma ve sorumluluk, en az adalet; 5. sınıf ders kitabında en fazla dayanışma, en az dürüstlük; 6. sınıf ders kitabında en fazla duyarlılık, en az tasarruf; 7. sınıf ders kitabında en fazla özgürlük, en az tasarruf değerlerine yer verildiği görülmektedir. Sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında yer alan değerlerin hem sınıf hem de öğrenme alanlarına ilişkin dağılımında farklılık gösterdiği görülmektedir. Araştırma sonucu doğrultusunda değerler, ders kitaplarında sınıf düzeyi ve öğrenme alanı kapsamında eşit şekilde yer verilebilir.
As of 2018, the primary and secondary school teaching programs have been revised, a number of innovations have been made in the programs. The value, which is one of the core elements of the teaching programs, is influenced by the innovations made. The 2018 Social Information Teaching Program includes 18 values. In providing these values, social information teaching books take an important role. This study is aimed at determining the status of social information in classes 4, 5, 6 and 7 to include values in the curricula. The purpose of the study is the work. The investigation was carried out by the method of document examination. The data is analyzed by the visual analysis method. The examples of the study are social information curricula books that have been approved by the Ministry of National Education and the President of the Board of Education and the decision to use for the last 5 years. The study included four books, including social information, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th classes. Research has found that different values are included in each field of learning. The highest tolerance and responsibility in the 4th class curriculum, minimum justice; the highest tolerance in the 5th class curriculum, minimum honesty; the highest sensitivity in the 6th class curriculum, minimum savings; 7. In the classroom, the most freedom and the least savings are included. Social information shows that the values contained in the curricula differ in the distribution of both class and learning fields. According to the results of the research, values can be equally placed in the classroom level and in the field of learning.
