Bu araştırmayla, ilkokul öğrencilerinin yazma hızları ve hatalarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Adıyaman İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı ilkokullarda 1-4. Sınıfa devam eden 65 öğrenciden oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel bir doküman incelemesi çalışması yapılmıştır ve araştırma verileri “Yazma Hataları Gözlem Formu“ adlı form aracılığıyla nitel araştırma verileri kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analiz edilmesinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmanın sonucunda İlkokul öğrencilerinin yazma hızlarının cinsiyet, yaş, sınıf seviyesi, okul öncesi eğitim alma durumlarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin yaş ve sınıf seviyesi arttıkça yazdıkları ortalama harf sayısının da arttığı görülüştür. Aynı şekilde okul öncesi eğitim alan öğrencilerinde yazma hızlarının daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin yazma becerileri incelendiğinde, kalem tutma, satır çizgisine yazma, harf atlama/ekleme, harfleri karıştırma, kelimeler ve harfler arasında uygun boşluk bırakma, noktalama işaretlerini kullanma gibi bir yazma hataları yaptıkları tespit edilmiştir. Yazma hatalarının oranı yaş, cinsiyet, sınıf seviyesi, okul öncesi eğitim alma durumu, anne babanın eğitim düzeyi ve çalışma durumuna göre farklılık göstermektedir. Öğrencilerin yazma esnasında oturma biçimi, satır çizgisinde yazma, yazma hızı, yazı büyüklüğü ve noktalama işaretleri kullanma değişkenlerinin yaşa göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği görülmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda tespit edilen yazma hatalarının düzeltmek amacıyla, çok yönlü yazma çalışmalarının yapılması önerilmektedir. Öğrencilere her gün yazma çalışması yaptırılması ve bu çalışmaların kontrol edilmesi, derslerde Türkçe sözlük ve Yazım Kılavuzu kullanımına önem verilmesi gerektiği belirtilmektedir. Yapılan araştırmanın alanda yapılacak araştırmalara kaynaklık etmesi beklenmektedir.
This research is aimed at determining the writing speeds and errors of primary school students. The study’s work group, in the 2021-2022 educational year, is 1–4 in primary schools related to the National Education Directorate of the Province of Namiyaman. The class consists of 65 students. The research was conducted with a quality document review study and the research data was obtained using the quality research data through the form called "Writing Errors Observation Form". The SPSS package program was used to analyze the data. The study found that the writing rates of primary school students vary significantly according to gender, age, class level, and pre-school education conditions. As the age and class level of students increase, the average number of letters they write also increases. It is also found that students in pre-school education have higher writing speeds. When students were studied writing skills, they were found to have made a writing mistake such as holding a pen, writing on a line, jumping/cling the letters, mixing the letters, leaving a suitable gap between words and letters, and using pointing signs. The ratio of writing errors vary according to age, gender, class level, state of pre-school education, the level of education of the parents and the state of work. It has been shown that the variables in the way students are sitting, writing on a line line, writing speed, writing size and using pointing signs have varied statistically significantly according to age. In order to correct the writing errors found in the research results, it is recommended to do multiple writing work. It is noted that students should be taught to write every day and to check these studies, to pay attention to the use of the Turkish dictionary and the Writing Guide in the courses. The research is expected to lead to research in the field.
