Özel Güvenlik ve Koruma Programı Öğrencilerinin Psikolojik Sağlamlık Düzeylerinin Belirlenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırma, meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin psikolojik sağlamlık düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak bireylerin psikolojik sağlamlığını ölçmek amacıyla Smith ve ark. (2008) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçeye uyarlaması Doğan (2015) tarafından yapılan Kısa Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği (KPSÖ, The Brief Resilience Scale) kullanılmıştır. Ölçek Kocaeli Üniversitesine bağlı özel güvenlik ve koruma programında öğrenim gören 90 öğrenciye uygulanmış ve veriler SPSS 16 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin psikolojik sağlamlıklarının orta düzeyde olduğu ve cinsiyet, yaş, anne-baba eğitim durumu, kardeş sayısı ve gelir durumu değişkenlerine göre istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur

Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of measuring the levels of psychological strength of professional college students. Smith and Ark aimed at measuring the psychological stability of individuals as a data collection tool. The short psychological resilience scale (KPSÖ, The Brief Resilience Scale) was developed by (2008) and adapted to Turkish by Doğan (2015). The scale was applied to 90 students who studied in the special security and protection program associated with the University of Kocaeli and the data was analyzed with the SPSS 16 program. The study found that students' psychological stability was medium and did not show statistically significant differences according to gender, age, parent-educational status, brothers and sisters and income status variables.
