Cemal Süreya (1931-1990) Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Edebiyatı’nda Muzaffer İlhan Erdost’un taktığı adla “İkinci Yeni” akımının en güçlü şairlerindendir. Şiirlerinin yanı sıra makaleleri, eleştirileri ve röportajları (daha sonra bu yazılar kitaplaştırılmıştır) da bulunmaktadır. Bu yazılardan yola çıkarak Cemal Süreya’nın poetikası hakkında bazı sınıflandırmalar yapmak mümkündür. Bu çalışmada oluşturulan başlıklar, şairin şiirle ilgili yazılarında üzerinde durduğu konulardan derlenmiştir. Şiirin ne olduğu, nasıl olduğu ve olması gerektiği, Cemal Süreya’nın kaleminden aktarılmıştır. Şair kimliği ile akla gelen Cemal Süreya’nın Türk ve Dünya Edebiyatı, edebiyatçıları hakkında, farklı sanat dallarıyla ilgili düz yazıları, akla onun eleştirmen olup olmadığı sorusunu getirmektedir. “Eleştiri nedir, Cemal Süreya’nın düzyazılarında eleştiri özellikleri var mıdır?” gibi soruların yanıtı aranacaktır. Şair olarak başarısı tartışma götürmeyen Süreya’nın eleştirmen kimliği bu çalışmanın esas konusudur. Bunun yanı sıra Cemal Süreya’nın şiir ölçütleri, yorumları ve beklentileri ana hatlarıyla toplanmaya çalışılacaktır.
Cemal Süreya (1931-1990) is one of the most powerful poets of the "Second New" stream with the name of Muzaffer Ilhan Erdost in Turkish Literature. In addition to his poems, he also has articles, criticisms and interviews (these articles are later booked). From these articles it is possible to make some classifications about the poetry of Cemal Süreya. The titles created in this work are compiled from the subjects that the poet stands on in his poems related to poetry. What the poet is, what it is, and what it should be, is transmitted from the pen of Cemal Süreya. Cemal Süreya's Turkish and World Literature, which comes to mind with the identity of the poet, brings the question about his literaries, his straight writings about the different branches of art, whether he is a critic. "What is the criticism, is there any criticism characteristics in the rectangles of Jamal Sureya?" You will find the answers to the questions. As a poet, the success of Sureya’s critic’s identity is the main subject of this work. In addition, the poem standards, comments and expectations of Cemal Süreya will be attempted to gather with their main lines.
