Servet-i Fünûn Dönemi ve Sonrasında Terza-Rima Nazım Şeklinin Kullanımı

Türk edebiyatında Batı’daki fikrî hareketler ve edebî eserlerin tesiriyle Tanzimat döneminden itibaren şiirde muhteva değişmeye başlar ve şairler yeni konularla şiir yazmaya yönelirler. Bu dönemde içerik bakımından yenileşme söz konusu olsa da şekil olarak eski/klasik nazım şekilleri kullanılmaya devam edilir. Böylece yeni konular, eski biçimlerle işlenmiş olur. Şekil bakımından yeni kullanımlar için Servet-i Fünûn dönemi ve şairlerini beklemek gerekecektir. Edebiyat tarihlerinde yer aldığı üzere, bu dönemde şairler sone, triyole ve terza-rima gibi Batı kaynaklı nazım şekillerini kullanmaya başlarlar. Yine klasik Türk edebiyatı nazım şekillerinden olan müstezatı da serbest müstezat olarak güncellerler. Böylece ‘yeni’lik arayışlarını sürdürmüş olurlar. Biz bu çalışmada ilk örnekleri Servet-i Fünûn döneminde görülen terza-rima nazım şeklinin Türk edebiyatındaki kullanımını ele almaya ve değerlendirmeye çalışacağız. İncelemenin sağlıklı olabilmesi açısından, çalışmayı Servet-i Fünûn döneminin başlarından II. Meşrutiyet döneminin sonlarına kadar olan süre aralığıyla sınırlı tutacağız.

With the influence of the intellectual movements and literary works in the West, content began to change in Turkish poetry and poets gravitated towards writing on new subjects after the Tanzimat era. In this period, although there was innovation in terms of content, old/classical verse forms continued to be used. Therefore, new subjects were covered with old literary forms. The use of new forms would emerge in the Servet-i Fünûn period. As recorded in literary history, poets began to use Western verse forms such as sonnets, triolets and terza-rima in this period. Mustezad, another verse form in Classical Turkish literature, was readapted as Prosaic Mustezad. In this way, the poets continued their search for innovation. In the present study, it is aimed to discuss and evaluate the use of terza-rima, the first examples of which were observed in the Servet-i Fünûn period, in Turkish literature. For a healthy evaluation, the study will be limited to the time period from early Servet-i Fünûn to the end of the Second Constitutional Era.
