E-Ticaret Algısının Y ve Z Kuşaklarının Girişimcilik Eğilimleri Üzerindeki Etkisi: Kastamonu Üniversitesi Örneği

Girişimcilik bir ülkenin gelişmişliği ve ekonomik kalkınması için oldukça önemli bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Özellikle günümüz bilgi ve teknoloji çağında teknoloji ve girişimcilik kavramları birlikte düşünüldüğünde Türkiye gibi genç nüfusa sahip ülkelerde girişimcilik büyük önem arz etmektedir. Çünkü Y ve Z kuşağı olarak ifade edilen ve bugün üniversite eğitimlerine devam eden milyonlarca genç bireyin potansiyel bir girişimci olduğu yadsınamaz bir gerçekliktir. Bu nedenle özellikle teknoloji çağında doğan genç bireylerin girişimciliğe bakış açılarını ve onları girişimci olmaya motive eden unsurları ortaya koymak gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada e-ticaret algısının genç bireylerin girişimcilik eğilimleri üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Kastamonu Üniversite’nde 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim döneminde eğitim gören Y ve Z kuşağı içerisinde yer alan 696 öğrenciye anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler faktör analizi ve regresyon analizleri ile test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Y ve Z kuşağı içinde yer alan öğrencilerin e-ticaret algılarının girişimcilik eğilimlerini olumlu ve anlamlı bir şekilde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca e-ticaret algısı, girişimcilik eğiliminin tüm alt boyutlarını olumlu ve anlamlı bir şekilde etkilemekle birlikte en çok etkilediği alt boyutların ise farklılık yaratma ve kararlılık olduğu görülmüştür

Entrepreneurship is a very important concept for the development and economic development of a country. Especially in today's knowledge and technology age, when the concepts of technology and entrepreneurship are considered together, entrepreneurship is of great importance in countries with young people like Turkey. Because it is a remarkable reality that millions of young individuals, expressed as the Y and Z generations and currently continue to university education, are a potential entrepreneur. Therefore, it is necessary to show out the views of young individuals born in the technology age and the elements that motivate them to become entrepreneurs. In this context, the study aims to study the impact of e-commerce perception on young individuals’ entrepreneurial trends. In accordance with this goal, a survey study was implemented to 696 students in the Y and Z generations who were trained in the 2018-2019 educational-educational period at Kastamonu University. The data used in the study was tested with factor analysis and regression analysis. The study found that e-commerce perceptions of students in the Y and Z generations have a positive and meaningful impact on entrepreneurial trends. In addition, the e-commerce perception has been shown to have a positive and meaningful impact on all subdimensions of the entrepreneurship trend, while the subdimensions that are most affected are differentiation and determination.

Especially in today’s age of technology and information, technology and entrepreneurship concepts, considered together with a young population in countries such as Turkey, entrepreneurship is of paramount importance. It is an undeniable fact that millions of teenagers, expressed as Y and Z generations, who continue their university education today are potential entrepreneurs. For this reason, it is necessary to reveal the perspectives of entrepreneurship of these teenagers, who were born in the modern technology era, and the elements that motivate them to be entrepreneurs. In this context, it is aimed to examine the effect of e-commerce perception on entrepreneurship tendency of young people. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 696 students in the Y and Z generation, who studied in Kastamonu University during the 2018-2019 academic year. The data used in the study were tested by factor analysis and regression analysis. As a conclusion of the research, it was determined that the e-commerce perceptions of the students in the Y and Z generation affected the entrepreneurship tendency in a positive and meaningful way. In addition, while the perception of e-commerce affects all sub-dimensions of entrepreneurship tendency in these ways, it is seen that the sub-dimensions that it affects most are creating difference and determination
