Abstract:

In this work, T.C. Characterization work of ceramics obtained from the Pendik High Heavy Rescue Hunting on the High Speed Train (YHT) project carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Sub-Building has been discussed. The above-mentioned height has not been settled by ecological factors from the Neolithic period to the Byzantine period. Therefore, in this study, a multidisciplinary study on the change of ceramic production depending on both the ecological condition and the mold structure was conducted in two stages from an archaeological and spectroscopic point of view. In the first phase, experimental studies were discussed and simple spot tests were implemented. In this scope, chloride, nitrate and sulfate analyses and conductivity measurements, protein and fat analyses have been carried out. The petrographic analysis used frequently in the archaeometry was then applied to characterize the samples taken from the structure. In addition to the above-mentioned experiments, instrumental analysis techniques were also used to determine the chemical, mineral and structural properties of the samples. Examples of shell properties, chemical composition rates regionally and pointally are determined by the XRD analysis of the mineral content with the SEM-EDS analysis. In this context, the structure of the ceramics included in this study, the quantitative and qualitative characteristics such as the manufacturing technique, with the contribution of the archaeometric and analytical results, were attempted to reach absolute information by revealing all the qualitative and qualitative features.
