Bu araştırmanın amacı ilkokul üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin hayat bilgisi dersine yönelik tutumlarını ölçebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Geliştirilen ölçeğin geçerliğini ve güvenirliğini tespit etmeye yönelik olarak oluşturulan form Niğde ili Çiftlik ilçesinde bulunan 494 üçüncü sınıf öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. Yapı geçerliğinin belirlenebilmesi için Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) ve Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) yapılmıştır. Açımlayıcı analiz sonucunda, ölçeğin 11 madde ve 2 alt boyuttan oluştuğu belirlenmiştir. Bu boyutlar “olumlu tutum” ve “olumsuz tutum” ifadeleri olarak adlandırılmıştır. Bununla birlikte ölçeğin toplam varyansın %46,572’sini açıkladığı belirlenmiştir. Güvenirlik açısından ölçek değerlendirildiğinde ise ölçeğin tamamı için Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı. 811 iken, “olumlu tutum” alt boyutu için alfa güvenirlik katsayısı .720 ve “olumsuz tutum” alt boyutu için alfa güvenirlik katsayısı .738 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca ölçeğin geçerliğine ilişkin doğrulayıcı faktör analizi de yapılarak analiz sonucunda 2 faktörlü yapı doğrulanmıştır. Ayrıca %27 alt ve %27 üst grupların madde puanları arasındaki farkın anlamlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular sonucunda ölçeğin ilkokul üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin hayat bilgisi dersine ilişkin tutumlarını geçerli ve güvenilir şekilde ölçtüğü ortaya çıkmıştır.
The aim of this research is to develop a measurement tool to measure the attitudes of third grade primary school students towards the life science lesson. The form created to determine the validity and reliability of the developed scale was applied to 494 third grade students. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed to determine the construct validity. As a result of the exploratory analysis, it was determined that the scale consisted of 11 items and 2 sub-dimensions. These dimensions were named as “positive attitude” and “negative attitude” statements. However, it was determined that the scale explained 46,572% of the total variance. When the scale was evaluated in terms of reliability; while the Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient for the whole scale was .811, it was determined that there was a significant difference between the item scores of the high-low-27-percent groups.In addition, confirmatory factor analysis was also performed regarding the validity of the scale, and as a result of the analysis, the 2-factor structure was confirmed. As a result of the findings, it was revealed that the scale measures the attitudes of the third grade students towards the life science lesson in a valid and reliable way.
