Türkiye’de Üniversite Mezunlarının İşsizliğini Etkileyen Değişkenlerin Sayısal Analizi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada üniversite mezunu işsizlerin, işsizlik deneyimlerini etkileyen değişkenlerin betimsel ve çıkarımsal istatistiksel tekniklerle ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirmek için İŞKUR’a kayıt yaptıran 1237 üniversite mezunu işsize anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada sosyoekonomik düzey, cinsiyet, mezuniyet alanı, işsizlik süresi ve yaş bağımsız değişkenler olarak ele alınmıştır. Bağımlı değişkenler ise iş arama kanalları, işsizlik nedenlerine ilişkin algılar ve istihdam beklentileri olarak gruplanan başlıklar altında elde edilen verilerdir. Bağımsız değişkenlerin bağımlı değişkenler üzerindeki etkileri sınıflamalı verilerin arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesini sağlayan Ki-kare Analizi ile incelenmiş, analiz 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca bağımsız değişkenin sınıflamalı, bağımlı değişkenin sürekli değişken olduğu durumda aralarındaki ilişkiler Varyans Analizi (ANOVA Testi) ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre üniversite mezunu işsizlerin kullandıkları iş arama kanalları, işsizlik nedenlerine ilişkin algıları ve istihdam beklentileri çalışmanın bağımsız değişkenlerine göre farklılık göstermektedir.

Digital analysis of the variables affecting the unemployment of university graduates in Turkey

Abstract:

This study aims to identify unemployed graduates, the variables that influence their unemployment experiences with visual and extractive statistical techniques. 1237 university graduates who registered in the UNICEF to this goal have been applied to an employment survey. The study addressed socio-economic levels, gender, field of graduation, unemployment period and age-independent variables. Dependent variables are the data obtained under titles grouped as job search channels, insights about unemployment causes and employment expectations. The effects of independent variables on dependent variables are studied by the Ki-quar Analysis, which allows the relationship between classified data to be studied, the analysis has been implemented at the 0.05 level of meaning. In the case of a classified, dependent variable of the independent variable, the relationships between them are determined by the Variant Analysis (ANOVA Test). According to the findings obtained from the study, the job search channels employed by university graduates, their perceptions of unemployment causes and employment expectations differ according to the independent variables of the study.

It is aimed to determine and describe the variables that effect the unemployment experiences of unemployed undergraduates by using descriptive and inferential statistics. In order to achieve this aim a survey has been employed to 1237 unemployed graduates, who register to ISKUR (Turkish Official Employment Agency). In the research socio economical statue, gender, graduation field unemployment duration, and age are the independent variables. The dependent variables are obtained by the questions that can be grouped as the titles of job search channels, the perceptions of their cause of unemployment and the employment expectations. The effects of independent variables on dependent variables are analyzed by the Chi-square Analysis which enables to conduct on the categorized variables. The analysis conducted at the significance level of 0, 05. Moreover ANOVA is conducted when independent variable is categorized and dependent variable is continuous. According to the results, the job searching channels that graduate unemployed used, the perceptions on the causes of their unemployment and their expectations on employment are differ according to the independent variables of the research.
