Abstract:

The aim of this research is to develop a valid and reliable scale that can be used to evaluate the Turkish Language Curriculum according to the CIPP model. In the research, the scanning model of the quantitative research method was used. The universe and sample of the research consists of Turkish teachers working in public secondary schools affiliated to the Mardin Provincial Directorate of National Education. The expert opinions of the item pool prepared in a five-point Likert type were consulted. As a result of expert opinions, the scale form to be used in the first application was prepared and applied to Turkish teachers for Exploratory Factor Analysis (N=300). IBM SPSS and AMOS programs were used for data analysis. As a result of the analysis, a structure consisting of 6 factors and 54 items emerged. To test the accuracy of the structure, the obtained data (N=344) were applied to Turkish teachers and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was performed. As a result of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, it was concluded that the fit indices were in the "Acceptable Fit" and "Perfect Fit" ranges. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient of the scale ranged between ,588 and ,955, and the reliability of the whole scale was found to be ,993. As a result, it was determined that the Turkish Lesson Curriculum CIPP Model Evaluation Scale, which was prepared in a five-point Likert type, could be used as a valid and reliable data collection tool. This developed scale can be used by teachers to evaluate the Turkish Lesson Curriculum according to the CIPP model.
