“SAVÇI” SÖZCÜĞÜNÜN ANLAM VE KAVRAM ALANI HAKKINDA BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Bu çalışmada “savçı” sözcüğünün anlam ve kavram alanı incelenmiştir. Savçı, Eski Türkçe döneminde (8. ve 11. yüzyıllar) “söz; haber, bilgi; mesaj” anlamlarını taşıyan sav < sab sözcüğü ile isimden isim yapma eki +çı/+çi’den türetilmiştir. Eski Türkçenin Köktürkçe (8. yy.) dönemine ait Türkçenin en eski yazılı metinleri olan Orhon Yazıtlarında yalnızca 𐰉𐰽 sab biçiminde geçen sav sözcüğü, Eski Uygur Türkçesi dönemine ait metinlerde ise sab~sav biçimlerinde görülmüştür. Eski Türkçe döneminde “sözcü; haberci” anlamını taşıyan savçı sözcüğü Karahanlı, Harezm, Çağatay ve Kıpçak Türkçesi dönemlerinde genellikle “sözcü, haberci; elçi; peygamber” anlamlarında kullanılmıştır. Bu sözcük tarihî Türk lehçelerindeki anlamını kaybetmesine rağmen Türkiye Türkçesinde hala varlığını sürdürmektedir. Bu çalışmada sa- fiili ile sav ve savçı sözcükleri arasındaki ilişki açıklanmaya çalışılmış, sab~sav, sabçı~savçı sözcüklerinin tarihsel gelişimi etimolojik ve fonetik bakımdan incelenerek, savçı sözcüğünün anlam ve kavram alanı tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra ise sav ve savçı sözcüklerinin tarihî Türk lehçelerindeki kullanımı, tespit edilen örnekler ile gösterilerek “sa-: 1. saymak; 2. düşünmek” fiilinden türediğini düşündüğümüz ve genellikle kök sözcük olarak değerlendirilen sab~sav sözcüğünün nasıl geliştiği üzerinde durulmuştur.

In this study, the meaning and concept of the word "advocate" was studied. The prosecutor was derived from the ancient Turkish period (the 8th and 11th centuries) with the word sav < sab, which means "word; news, information; message" and the name of the name of the appendix +chi/chi. Ancient Turkish ( 8 ) and y) In the Orhon Writings, the oldest written texts of the Turkish language of its period, the word sav only passed in the sab form, and in the texts of the ancient Uyghur Turkish period, the word sav was seen in the sab~sav form. In the ancient Turkish period, the word “procurator” which means “speaker; messenger” was often used in the Karahanlı, Harezm, Çağatay and Kıpçak Turkish periods in the words “speaker, messenger; messenger; messenger”. Although this word has lost its meaning in historical Turkish languages, it still exists in Turkish. In this study, the relationship between sa-fiili and sav and prosecutor’s words was tried to be explained, the historic development of sab~sav, sabçı~sav’s words was studied in the ethymological and phonetic perspective, the meaning and concept field of the prosecutor’s word was identified. Then the use of the word sav and prosecutor in the historic Turkish languages was focused on how the word sab~sav, which is often considered a root word, was developed and we thought it was derived from the fact "sa-: 1. counting; 2. thinking" and shown by the identified examples.
