Abstract:

Despite the technological developments in the health care system recently, most of the health services are still provided by human hands. Human relations are high in health organizations. The outputs of health services directly concern human life and costly jobs. Organizational distortions among health workers lead to undesirable individual and institutional consequences. The aim of the study is to investigate the mediation role of stigmatization between workplace loneliness and alienation of health workers. The sample of the study consists of 359 people who agree to participate between 27.12.2022 and 17.01.2023. The data of the research planned in quantitative and sectional type were obtained by face-to-face survey technique. Data collection form consist of, demographic variables, workplace loneliness scale, stigma scale, the scale of alienation from work. Data were subjected to a mediation test with Process Macro-Model 4. In the interpretation of the mediation effect, Bootstrap technique was used. According to the results of the analysis, it has been determined that all variables have a statistically positive and significant relationship with each other. The effect of workplace loneliness on job alienation and stigmatization, the effect of stigma on job alienation and it has been seen that stigmatization plays a mediating role at a moderate level in the effect of workplace loneliness on job alienation.
