Abstract:

This study examined the relationship between teachers’ psychological resistance and organizational policy and organizational sinism perceptions. Relative scanning models from quantum research models were used in the research. The universe of research is formed by teachers who work in the Erzincan province center in the 2019-2020 educational year. The sampling of the study consists of 328 teachers identified by a simple random sampling method. The result of the application for the collection of data from the Working Group, the Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Ethics Council Commission, with Decision No. 30/11/2020 dated 10/06 of the Working Group, was found to be in accordance with the work ethics. The research finds that teachers’ levels of psychological resilience are in the middle, general organizational policy perception and individual-oriented policy perception are in the low, organizational-oriented policy perception are in the middle, and organizational sinism and subdimensional perception levels are in the low. In teachers’ perceptions of psychological resistance, there is no significant difference depending on the educational condition and age variable, but there is a significant difference with the age variable.  Organizational policy perception levels have shown a significant difference in education status, age and age variable. Organizational sinism perception levels have not shown any significant differences according to the state of education, the time of work experience and the age variable. There has been no meaningful relationship between psychological resistance and organizational policy perception in terms of both total points and subdimensions, and there has been a meaningful relationship between psychological resistance, organizational sinism and subdimensions, cognitive sinism, sensual sinism, and low-level negative. Organizational sinism has been shown to have a meaningful relationship with the perception of organizational policy and its subdimensions in a high-level positive direction; cognitive sinism, sensual sinism and behavioral sinism have a meaningful relationship with the perception of organizational policy and its subdimensions in a medium-level positive direction.
