Abstract:

This study has studied the role of parents’ connectivity styles in social emotional harmony in children aged 5-6 years. Relative scanning models from general scanning models were used in the study. The study included 416 (208 couples) parents who had a 5-year-old child and continued their child to a pre-school education institution. Working group has been taken into account when determining accessibility and economic suitability. Data collection tools have been used with the Social Capacity and Behavioral Assessment Scale-30 and the Connecting Styles Scale. For data analysis, through the SPSS 25 package program, Pearson's correlation ratio, simple and multi-linear (Linear) regression analysis techniques have been used. For these analyses, the presumptions that must be met are normality, self-correlation and multiple linear connections. According to the correlation analysis, the social capacity, which is a sub-dimension of social emotional harmony, has been found to be positively linked with unconscious connection and secure connection; the sub-dimension of anger aggressiveness is positively linked with unconscious connection, fearful connection and unconscious connection; and the sub-dimension of anxiety-in-conversion has been found to be positively linked with secure connection with negative, unconscious, fearful and unconscious connection. Furthermore, in regression analyses, it has been shown that the social capacity of the secure connection style, the angry and negligent connection styles, the aggression of anger, and the angry and negligent connection styles, significantly influenced the anxiety-in-conversion in the positive direction. The findings obtained in the study were discussed in the light of educational findings and in parallel with the relevant literature were presented in recommendations to educators and researchers.
