Abstract:

This study is planned in a defining type in order to determine the perceptions of the nursing bachelor's students to the ethical attitudes of teachers. The universe of research was formed by all nursing students registered in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Aksaray University in the spring period 2017-2018. The participation rate in the work is 80%. The data collection used "Student Promotion Form" and "The Scale of Determination of Perceptions in Relationship to Ethical and Nonethical Attitudes of Nursing Graduate Students of Teachers". In determining the sociodemographic characteristics of students, the number, percentage, average and standard deviations, and in the analysis of the differences between the variables, one-way variance analyses and the t test in independent samples were used. The average age of students is 20.68±5.59, 67.0% are women and 64.7% have received a lesson/education related to ethics. The scale’s total score is 48.87±6.88, which is a factor that affects the ethical perception level of gender (p=0,000). Third-class students have the highest levels of ethical perception (49.73 ± 3.81) and ethical classes/education students have higher scores than non-students but there is no connection between class and ethical classes/education and ethical perceptions of students (p≥0.05). It is believed that teachers who behave fair while noting, who do not behave that will break the honour of their students alongside others and who have sufficient knowledge of the course will be a role model for students.
