Abstract:

Industry 4.0, a concept that includes many modern automation systems, data exchange and production technologies, has gained great importance in the last few years. The Industry 4.0 concept, which focuses on building cyber-physical systems to smart production facilities that will make production more digital, personalized, information-based and sustainable, based on the integration of information and communication technologies and industrial technologies, will have an impact on the entire value chain. Today’s companies are facing major challenges for reasons such as increasing global competition, the customer needs are changing faster than ever, and constantly developing digitalization. The Industry 4. Digital transformation for 0 will create a single database that will make the supply chain smarter, more transparent and more efficient in every phase, from the identification of the customer needs considered the first and last point to the reach of the product’s end user’s hand. In this context, the logistics companies that play an active role in the entire supply chain are very important. Suppliers, warehouses, market rafts, road vehicles, smart factories will be able to be in communication thanks to Industry 4.0 and thus all the steps of the supply chain will be able to be managed by instant communication. Through the logistics process, instantly shared data will allow the efficient use of efficiency and capacity to be secured and re-coordinated. The Industry 4. It is believed that the study of the process and technology compatibility of companies within the supply chain for 0 applications and digital transformation will contribute to the current paper. Therefore, the study’s objective is to thoroughly explore the transformation of the logistics industry in Industry 4.0, within the Industry 4.0 components. In this context, it was decided that it would be appropriate to carry out a logistics analysis with a logistics company located in the locomotive position of the industry, which creates awareness by adding the logistics 4.0 emblem to its logo and works in the field of industry 4.0. In the study, the logistics company will present the project information that is ongoing within Industry 4.0, the project objectives, objectives, the technologies it uses and the project outcomes as a result. The project is based on the European Union’s Horizon 2020 project, and the project is supported by the TÜBİTAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs (TEYDEB) Presidency. The findings of the study research are concluded with suggestions for the industry and guidelines for future research.
