Abstract:

Bu çalısmada Türk siiri, siir yazma sebepleri açısından ele alınmıs; 18. yüzyıl divan sairi Örfî Mahmud Ağa’nın, kendi on iki gazeline yazdığı sahsî notlar bu açıdan orijinal bir örnek olarak değerlendirilmistir. Örfî Mahmud Ağa, divan siiri geleneğinde ender görülen bir sekilde, gazellerinin yazılma sebepleri hakkında çesitli notlar kaydetmistir. Bu notlarda, divan sairinin sahsî dünyasına dair dikkat çekici ipuçları verildiği görülmektedir. Makalede asıl amaç, divan edebiyatında siir yazma sebepleri hakkında bir değerlendirme yapmak olduğu için; Türk siiri, kronolojik olarak takip edilmemis, eski Türk siirinden, doğrudan Batı tesirindeki Türk siirine geçilmis ve en son divan sairlerinin siir yazma sebepleri üzerinde durulmustur. Private notes written by Örfi Mahmud Ağa, 18th century divan poet, for twelve of his gazals are made use in respect. Örfi Mahmud Ağa, took some notes about why he wrote his poems, which is a rare thing in divan poetry. In this notes, striking clues on private world of divan poets are provided. Because the purpose of this study is to make judgments on the reasons for writing poetry in divan literature, Turkish poetry is not examined from a chronological perspective. Therefore, the following order was followed: first, early Turkish poetry, then, Turkish poetry under Western influence and at last, the reasons for divan poets to write poems.
