Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Sosyal ve Entelektüel Aktiviteleri ile Akademik Başarı Durumları ve Yaşam Doyumları Arasındaki İlişki

Bu çalışmada, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sosyal ve entelektüel aktiviteleri ile akademik başarı durumları ve yaşam doyumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırma, Şubat-Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında bir üniversitenin Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü’nde eğitim gören 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri üzerinde yürütülmüştür n=455 . Araştırma verileri araştırmacılar tarafından literatür incelenerek oluşturulan anket formu ve Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği YDÖ ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiklerin yanı sıra Ki-Kare testi, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal-Wallis testi ve Spearman Korelasyon analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.5±1.8 olup, %86.6’sının cinsiyeti kadındır. Öğrencilerin %47.7’sinin genel not ortalaması 2.51-3.00 arası olup akademik başarı durumlarının orta düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. 2.51-3.00 orta ve 3.01-3.50 iyi not ortalamasına sahip öğrencilerin diğerlerine göre 0.00-2.00, 2.01-2.50, 3.51-4.00 anlamlı olarak daha fazla kitap fuarına gittiği p=0.011 , ayda 1-2 kez sinemaya gittiği p=0.045 ve kültürel gezilere katıldığı p=0.003 saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin YDÖ puan ortalaması 14.4±4.3 olarak bulunmuştur. YDÖ puan ortalamaları ile genel not ortalamaları arasında anlamlı ilişki p=0.073 bulunmamıştır. Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationship between nursing students’ social and intellectual activities and academic success conditions and life satisfactions. This identifying type of research was conducted on students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade who were trained in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences of a University between February-March 2018 n=455 . The research data was collected with the survey form created by the researchers by studying literature and the Life Doyum Scale. In the evaluation of the data, identifying statistics were used as well as Ki-Kare test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test and Spearman Correlation analysis methods. The average age of students is 20.5±1.8 and 86.6 percent of students are female. 47 per cent of students. The overall score of 7 is between 2.51-3.00 and the academic success status is established at a medium level. 2.51-3.00 average and 3.01-3.50 good score average students compared to others 0.00-2.00, 2.01-2.50, 3.51-4.00 significantly more book exhibitions p=0.011, p=0.045 where they go to the cinema 1-2 times a month and p=0.003 where they participate in cultural trips. The average score of the students was 14.4±4.3. There was no meaningful relationship between the YDÖ score average and the general score average p=0.073. This descriptive study was conducted on n = 455 students in the first, second, third and fourth grades who were trained in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of a University between February-March 2018. The research data were collected by the questionnaire form prepared by the researchers and the Life Satisfaction Scale SDS . In the evaluation of the data, descriptive statistics as well as Chi-Square test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Spearman correlation analysis methods were used. The average age of the students was 20.5±1.8, and the sex of 86.6% was females. It was determined that 47.7% of the students had a general grade average between 2.51-3.00 and academic achievement was moderate. p=0.011 significantly higher than the others 0.00-2.00, 2.01-2.50, 3.51-4.00 between 2.51-3.00 medium and 3.01-3.50 good 1-2 times going to cinema p=0.045 and participating in cultural excursions p=0.003 . The average score of the students was 14.4±4.3. There was no statistically significant relationship p=0.073 between CGS average scores and overall grade scores. p
