Bu çalışma, 2012 yılında eğitimde yaşanan gelişmeler sonrası imam hatip ortaokullarının ve liselerinin mevcut durumunu analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Böylelikle bu okulların Türk Eğitim Sistemi içerisindeki oranlarına yönelik bir sonuca ulaşmak hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmada veriler, nitel araştırma tekniklerinden biri olan doküman incelemesi ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre, bu süreçte imam hatip ortaokulu binalarının oranı 3 kat artmış, ortaokullar içindeki payı %17,83’e yükselmiştir. Bu okullardaki öğrencilerin ortaokul öğrencileri içerisindeki oranı ise %13,63’e ulaşmıştır. İmam hatip ortaokullarının yaklaşık dörtte üçü yeni bir okul olarak açılmıştır. İmam hatip liselerinin bina sayısı da bu süreçte ortalama iki kat artmıştır. İmam Hatip liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin ortaöğretimde öğrenim gören öğrenciler içerisindeki oranı 2014-2015 öğretim yılında %11,74’e ulaşmıştır. 2014-2015 öğretim yılından itibaren ise bu oran genel olarak gerilemeye başlamıştır. Açık Öğretim İmam Hatip Lisesi (AÖİHL) öğrencilerine ilişkin sayısal veriler 2014-2015 öğretim yılından itibaren diğer imam hatip liseleri verileriyle beraber yayınlanmaya başlanmıştır. Açık Öğretim İmam Hatip Lisesi öğrencilerinin açık öğretim öğrencileri içerisindeki oranı ortalama %8’dir. Açık Öğretim İmam Hatip Lisesi öğrencilerinin tüm imam hatip lisesi öğrencileri içerisindeki oranı ise %15’tir. Ortaokul ve liselerde erkek öğrenci sayısı kız öğrenci sayısından fazla olmasına rağmen imam hatip okullarında (ortaokul, lise ve açık öğretim) kız öğrenci sayısı erkek öğrenci sayısından daha fazladır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde, 2012 yılından itibaren imam hatip ortaokulları ve liselerinin bina ve öğrenci sayılarında artış olduğu görülmektedir. Ancak bu artışın son yıllarda durduğu, kısmen gerilemenin başladığı anlaşılmaktadır.
This study aims to analyze the current situation of imam hatip secondary schools and high schools after the developments in education in 2012. Thus, it is aimed to reach a conclusion regarding the ratio of these schools in the Turkish Education System. The data in the study were obtained by document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research techniques. According to the data obtained, in this process, the proportion of Imam Hatip secondary school buildings increased by 3 times and its share in secondary schools reached 17,83%. The share of students in these schools among secondary school students reached 13,63%. About three quarters of Imam Hatip secondary schools were opened as a new school. The number of buildings in IHL Schools has doubled on average in this process. The rate of students studying at Imam Hatip high schools among students which studied at secondary high schools reached 11,74 percent in the 2014-2015 academic year. Since the 2014-2015 academic year, this rate has started to decline in general. Numerical data on AÖIHL students have been published together with other imam hatip high schools data since the 2014-2015 academic year. The average rate of AÖİHL students among open education students is 8%. The share of AÖIHL students among all IHL students is 15%. Although the number of male students in secondary and high schools is higher than that of female students, the number of female students in imam hatip schools is higher than that of male students. When the results obtained in the research are evaluated in general, it is seen that there has been an increase in the number of buildings and students of imam hatip secondary schools and high schools since 2012. However, it is understood that this increase has stopped and even partially regressed in recent years.
