Destinasyon Deneyiminin İmaj Algısı ve Davranışsal Niyete Etkisi: Kapadokya Örneği

Turistler ziyaret ettikleri destinasyonlarda farklı deneyimler elde etmektedirler. Bu araştırmanın amacı, destinasyonda edinilen bu deneyimlerin turistlerin destinasyon imajı algıları ve davranışsal niyetleri üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Bu araştırmada kolayda örneklem yöntemi ile Kapadokya’yı ziyaret eden yerli ve yabancı turistlere yönelik bir anket uygulamasından elde edilen veriler kullanılarak, destinasyon deneyimi, destinasyon imajı ve davranışsal niyet arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. 2017 yılının Ağustos ayında gerçekleştirilen anket çalışması sonucunda 527 adet geçerli veri elde edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda deneyim ile destinasyon imajının bilişsel ve duygusal boyutları ve davranışsal niyet arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu görülmüştür. Yerli ve yabancı turistler arasında bilişsel ve duygusal imaj farklılıkları olduğu ayrıca davranışsal niyetin ziyaret sayısına göre farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

Effect Of Destination Experience On Image Perception and Behavioral Intention: Case Of Cappadoccia

Abstract:

Tourists get different experiences in the destinations they visit. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of these experiences on perception of destination image and behavioral intentions of tourists. In this study, the relationship between destination experience, destination image and behavioral intention was examined by using the data obtained from a survey application aimed at domestic and foreign tourists visiting Cappadocia with convenience sampling method. As a result of the survey conducted in August 2017, 527 valid data were obtained. As a result of the analyzes, it was seen that there was a significant relationship between experience and cognitive and affective dimensions of the destination image and behavioral intention. Cognitive and affective image differences were found between domestic and foreign tourists; in addition, behavioral intention was found to differ according to number of visits.
