Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de lisans düzeyinde spor yöneticiliği eğitimi veren yükseköğretim kurumlarını çeşitli değişkenler üzerinden analiz etmektir. Araştırmada 1999-2019 yılları arasındaki Yükseköğretim Kurumuna Geçiş Kılavuzları ve Yükseköğretim Bilgi Sistemi aracılığı ile toplanarak edilen verilere betimsel analiz yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde; Türkiye’de 2019 yılında 75 adet spor yöneticiliği bölümü bulunduğu ve bu bölümlerin 62’sinin devlet 13’ünün ise vakıf üniversiteleri bünyesinde yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Spor yöneticiliği bölümlerinin %76’sı özel yetenek sınavıyla, %24’ü merkezi yerleştirme sistemiyle öğrenci alımı yapmaktadır. Spor yöneticiliği bölümü kontenjanlarının spor yöneticiliği bölümlerinde görev yapan öğretim elemanlarına oranlarına bakıldığında; Gazi Üniversitesi, Akdeniz Üniversitesi, İstanbul Cerrahpaşa Üniversitesi ve Marmara Üniversitesinin öğretim elemanı başına öğrenci sayısı ortalamasında ilk 4 sırada yer aldıkları görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak; spor yöneticiliği bölümleri ve kontenjanları nicelik olarak yıldan yıla artışlar göstermiştir. Bu artışın nitelik olarak da sağlanabilmesi için önemli kriterlerden birisi olan öğretim elemanı başına düşen öğrenci sayısında ise ülke geneli ortalamasının üstünde yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Vakıf üniversitelerinin sadece Marmara ve Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti bölgelerinde bulunması, toplam kontenjanın neredeyse yarısının Karadeniz ve Marmara bölgelerinde yer alması ve Akdeniz ve Doğu Anadolu bölgelerinin kontenjan dağılımında sadece %11 ile temsil edilmesi nedeniyle bölgeler arasındaki kontenjanların homojen dağılmadığı söylenebilir.
The aim of this research is to analyze higher education institutions that provide training in sports management at the bachelor level in Turkey through various variables. The study applied a visual analysis method to the data collected through the Transition Guidelines to the Higher Education Institution and the Higher Education Information System between 1999-2019. According to the analysis, there were 75 sports management departments in Turkey in 2019 and 62 of these departments were founded in the state 13 of the founding universities. 76% of the sports management departments take a special skill exam and 24% take a student with a central placement system. If you look at the ratio of the contingencies of the sports management department to the teachers who work in the sports management departments; the Gazi University, the Mediterranean University, the Istanbul University of Surgery and the University of Marmara are ranked in the first 4 places in the average number of students per teachers. As a result; sports management departments and containers showed quantity increases from year to year. The number of students per teacher, which is one of the criteria for the quality of this increase, is found to be above the country's overall average. The foundation universities are located only in the regions of Marmara and the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, and almost half of the total containments are located in the Black Sea and Marmara regions and the Mediterranean and Eastern Anadolu regions are represented with only 11% in the containments distribution, and the containments between the regions are not homogeneously distributed.
The purpose of this research; sports management graduate-level education in Turkey reveals that higher education institutions through a variety of variables and analyze their general line. Our research findings were gathered through the Guidelines for Transition to Higher Education Institution between 1999-2019 and the Higher Education Information System. Descriptive analysis method was applied to the obtained data. As a result of the analysis; There are 75 sport management departmen in Turkey. 62 of these departments are state-owned and 13 are within foundation universities. 76% of the sports management departments receive special ability and 24% recruit students through the central placement system. When we look at the ratio of the quotas of the sports management department to the academic staff working in the sports management departments; It is seen that Gazi, Akdeniz, Istanbul Cerrahpaşa and Marmara University are in the top 4 in terms of the number of students per academic staff. As a result; Sports management departments and quotas have increased from year to year in quantity. In order to achieve this increase in terms of quality, it was determined that the number of students per faculty member, which is one of the important criteria, is above the country average. It can be said that the quotas between the regions are not homogenously distributed, since foundation universities are located only in the Marmara and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus regions, almost half of the total quota is located in the Black Sea and Marmara regions.
