Abstract:

The research shows that children with autism spectrum disorder (OSB) experience limits in their verbal communication skills, making important interventions to support the development of these skills. In this context, the study using the multi-start model between subjects from single-dimensional patterns examined the effectiveness of the Basic Reaction Teaching, which was developed to support social communication skills in children with OSB, in giving this skill to three children with OSB and without verbal communication skills. In the study that assessed the data through visual analysis, the research results showed that the TSO improved the participant’s verbal communication skills, while there were significant differences between the participants in the acquisition of the skills.
