Bu araştırma, ilkokuma yazma öğretimi sürecindeki bitişik eğik yazı çalışmalarının; okul öncesi eğitimi sırasında yazıya hazırlık eğitimi alıp almadıkları dikkate alınarak gözlenmesi, bu gözlemlerin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya yazıya hazırlık çalışması alan (deney grubu) 53 öğrenci ile böyle bir hazırlık çalışması almayan (kontrol grubu) 60 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 113 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanması amacıyla “Bitişik Eğik Yazı Becerisini Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı” geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin yazı becerilerinin değerlendirildiği ölçütlere ilişkin puanlarının ana sınıfı eğitiminde bitişik eğik yazıya hazırlık eğitimi alıp almadığına göre farklılığı için iki bağımsız değişkenin ortak etkisi araştırıldığından bağımsız gruplar için iki faktörlü ANOVA uygulanmıştır.
