Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to determine the teachers’ subjective well-being levels and their perceptions of their attitudes towards refugees students. However, it is to determine the relationship between the subjective goods of teachers and their attitudes towards refugees students. Relational scan model was used in the research. The "Personal Information Form" was developed by Renshaw, Long and Cook (2015) in order to determine the levels of subjective well-being of teachers and adapted to the Turkish by Ergün-Sezgin Nartgün (2017) and developed by Sağlam and Ilksen Kanbur (2017) in order to determine the perceptions of teachers about their attitudes towards refugees. The examples of the study were made by 183 teachers working in the first and secondary schools located in the Central District of Çanakkale. The data results were analyzed in the SPSS 21.0 program. According to the results obtained, there has been a weak positive correlation between the dimensions of the Subjective Goodness Scale (School Commitment, Teaching Qualification) and the dimensions of the Refugee Student Attitude Scale (Communication, Compatibility, Qualification). It has been concluded that the subdimensions of the Subjective Good-Being Scale are a meaningful contributor to the determination of the subdimensions of the Refugee Student Attitude Scale.
