Çalışmanın amacı, Bartholomay ve Houlihan (2016) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Topluluk Önünde Konuşma Kaygısı Ölçeği’nin Türkçeye uyarlamasını yapmak, ölçeğin geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğini test etmektir. Ölçek geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları için 198 üniversite öğrenci (138 kadın, 60 erkek) grubuna uygulanmıştır. Dil geçerliliği için Türkçe form ve İngilizce form İngilizce Öğretmenliği bölümü 4. Sınıfa devam eden 39 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır ve formlar arasındaki korelasyon .96 bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini test etmek amacıyla cronbach alpha iç tutarlılık katsayısına bakılmış ve toplam puanda .93, alt boyutlarda ise iç tutarlığın sırayla bilişsel boyut için .88, davranışsal boyut için .69 ve psikolojik boyut için .86 olduğu bulunmuştur. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi uyum indekslerine bakıldığında ise, χ2= 211.55, p <.000, χ2/df = 2.18, GFI =.88, IFI = .947, RMR=.063 RMSEA =.077 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Topluluk Önünde Konuşma Kaygısı Ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlanması ve Türk kültürüne kazandırılması için yapılan analizler sonucunda ölçeğin güvenilir ve geçerli bir ölçme aracı olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
The aim of the study is to make the Speech Anxiety Scale, developed by Bartholomay and Houlihan (2016) adapted to the Turkish, to test the validity and reliability of the scale. 198 university students (138 women, 60 men) were applied for scale validity and reliability studies. The analysis made to adapt the speech concern measurement to the Turkish and to bring it to the Turkish culture has found that the measurement measurement is a reliable and valid measurement tool.
