Bu çalışma, 8-10 yaş grubu yüzücülerin temel motorik özellikleri ile 25m dört farklı stil yüzme (kelebek, sırtüstü, kurbağalama, serbest) dereceleri arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Spor Kulübü’nden 18 kız (yaş ortalaması 9,00±0,84yıl; boy ortalaması 135,06±7,22cm; ağırlık ortalaması 32,80±7,22kg) ve 18 erkek (yaş ortalaması 9,00±0,84yıl; boy ortalaması 136,06±7,22cm; ağırlık ortalaması 34,91±7,68kg) olmak üzere toplam 36 yüzücü gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci günü yüzücülerin flamingo denge, otur-uzan esneklik, 20m sürat koşusu, durarak uzun atlama, sit-up (mekik) testi ve 10x5m mekik koşusu ölçülmüştür. Çalışmanın ikinci gününde yüzücülerin 25m dört farklı stilde yüzme dereceleri kronometre ile kaydedilmiştir. Yüzücülerin test ortalamaları cinsiyete bağlı incelenip motor özellikleriyle yüzme derecelerinin birbirleriyle olan ilişkileri SPSS 20.0 programında Pearson Korelasyonu ile analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, durarak uzun atlama mesafesi hariç tüm testlerde kız yüzücüler erkek yüzücülere göre daha yüksek sonuçlar elde etmişlerdir. Yüzücülerin durarak uzun atlama ve sit-up (mekik) testlerinin verileriyle 25m kelebek (r= -,600; -,659), sırtüstü (r= -,550; -,654), kurbağalama (r= ,-608; -,638) ve serbest (r= -,561; -,608) yüzme dereceleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı negatif yönde ilişki(p<0,05) tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca flamingo denge (sağ-sol), 20m sürat ve 10x5m mekik koşusu değerleri ile 25m kelebek (r= ,504; 552; ,703; ,710), sırtüstü (r= ,468; ,539; ,599; .688), kurbağalama (r= ,384; ,429; ,685; ,777) ve serbest (r= ,428; ,532; ,629; ,625) yüzme dereceleri arasında ise istatistiksel olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde ilişki tespit edilmiştir(p<0,05). Otur-uzan esneklik testiyle yüzme dereceleri arasında anlamlı ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır (p>0,05).

Abstract:

This study was conducted to determine the relationships between the basic motor characteristics of 8-10-year-old swimmers and 25m four different style swimming degrees (puppy, back, scratch, free). In the study, 18 girls from the Istanbul Technical University Sports Club (age average 9.00±0.84 years; size average 135.06±7.22cm; weight average 32.80±7.22kg) and 18 men (age average 9.00±0.84 years; size average 136.06±7.22cm; weight average 34.91±7.68kg) participated as a total of 36 swimmers. The first day of the study was measured by the swimmers flamingo balance, seat-long flexibility, 20m speed running, standing long jumping, sit-up (mechanical) test and 10x5m mechanical running. On the second day of the study, swimmers' swimming levels in 25m four different styles were recorded by chronometers. The test average of swimmers is gender-related and the relationship between motor characteristics and swimming degrees is analyzed with the Pearson Correlation in the SPSS 20.0 program. As a result, girls swimmers in all tests, except for long jumping distances, obtained higher results than male swimmers. With the data of the long jumping and sit-up (mechanical) tests of the swimmers stop, the statistically significant negative relationship (p<0,05) between the 25m dolls (r= -,600; -,659), the rear (r= -,550; -,654), the curvature (r= ,-608; -,638) and the free swimming (r= -,561; -,608) has been detected. Furthermore, the flamingo balance (right-left), 20m speed and 10x5m square running values with 25m dolls (r= ,504; 552; ,703; ,710), rectum (r= ,468; ,539; ,599; .688), craving (r= ,384; ,429; ,685; ,777) and free (r= ,428; ,532; ,629; ,625) swimming degrees have been identified in a statistically significant positive direction relationship (p<0,05). There was no meaningful relationship between the seating-long flexibility test and the swimming degrees (p>0,05).

The Relationship Between 25m Different Style Swimming Performances and Motor Skills Of 8-10 Age Group

The aim of this study was to determine the relationships between basic motor skills and 25m four different styles swimming (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) of 8-10 age group swimmers. 18 female (mean age: 9.00±0.84yrs; mean height: 135.06±7.22cm; mean weight: 32.80±7.22kg) and 18 male (mean age: 9.00±0.84yrs; mean height: 136.06±7.22cm; mean weight 34.91±7.68kg) swimmers from Istanbul Technical University Sports Club participated in this study voluntarily. On the first day, flamingo balance, sit-reach test, 20m sprint, standing long jump, sit-up test and 10x5m shuttle run of the swimmers were measured. On the second day, swimmers’ 25m four different styles swimming times were recorded with stopwatch. The mean test scores of the swimmers were analyzed according to gender and the relationship between motor skills and swimming times were analyzed by Pearson Correlation in SPSS 20.0 program. As a result, female swimmers had higher results than male swimmers in all tests except the long jump distance. There was statistically significant negative correlation between the distance of standing long jump and the data of sit-up test and 25m butterfly (r=-.600; -.659); backstroke (r=-.550; -.654); breaststroke (r=.-608; -.638) and freestyle (r=-.561; -.608) swimming times(p <0.05). In addition, statistically significant negative correlation was found between flamingo balance (right-left), 20m sprint and 10x5m shuttle run scores ​​with 25m butterfly (r=.504; 552; .703; .710), backstroke (r=.468; .539; .599; .688), breaststroke (r=.384; 429; .685; .777) and freestyle (r=.428; .322; .629; .625) swimming times (p <0.05). No significant relationship was found between sit-reach test and swimming times (p> 0.05).
