Hıristiyanlıkta “kutsal” sözcüğü, genel olarak “saygı uyandıran, saygıya ve korkuya sevk eden her şey.” anlamında kullanılmaktadır. Bu çerçevede “kutsal” sözcüğünün eşanlamlısı olarak “Aziz” ifadesi önemli bir yer teşkil etmektedir. Tanıtımını yapacağımız eserde Katolik dünyasında kutsal kabul edilen “Azizlik ve Azizler” ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Kemal Polat, tarafından hazırlanan “Katolik Hıristiyanlıkta Azizlik” eseri önsöz, giriş, üç bölüm, sonuç, fotoğraflar, bibliyografya ve dizinden oluşmaktadır.
The word "holy" in Christianity, in general, is "everything that awakened respect, that prompted respect and fear." It is used in meaning. In this context, the expression "Saint" as an equivalent of the word "holy" constitutes an important place. In the work we will present it is discussed and studied the "Saints and Saints" considered holy in the Catholic world. The work "The Sacrament in Catholic Christianity" prepared by Kemal Polat consists of prejudice, entry, three sections, results, photos, bibliography and directory.
