Öğretmenlik uygulaması dersi öğretmen adaylarının eğitiminde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Öğretmen adayları uygulama okullarında elde ettikleri deneyimlerle mesleki becerilerini geliştirebilme ve öğret-menlik mesleğine yönelik detayları öğrenebilme fırsatına sahip olmaktadırlar. Mesleğe başlamadan önceki son adım olan bu dersin amacına ulaşabilmesi bakımından aday öğretmenlerin bu dersten beklentilerinin, karşılaştıkları sorunların neler olduğunun bilinmesi oldukça önemlidir. Bu düşünceden hareketle çalışmada, fen bilimleri öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik uygulaması dersine yönelik beklen-tileri, karşılaştıkları sorunlar ve sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerilerinin neler olduğunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın katılımcıları, İç Anadolu’da orta büyüklükte bir eğitim fakültesinin Matematik ve Fen Bilimleri Eğitimi Bölümü Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Programı dördüncü sınıfında öğrenim gören 5 erkek, 14 kadın olmak üzere toplam 19 fen bilimleri öğretmen adayıdır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 5 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, öğretmenlik uygulaması dersinin öğretmen adaylarına olumlu anlamda katkısının olduğu; ancak uygulama dersinin toplam süresinin az olduğu gibi sonuçlar ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara dayalı olarak fakülte-okul işbirliğinin geliştirilmesi ve uygulama süresinin artırılmasına yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The teaching practice course has an important place in the education of the teacher candidates. Teacher candidates have the opportunity to develop their professional skills with the experience they gain in the practice schools and learn the details of the teaching-manage profession. It is very important for the candidate teachers to be able to reach the goal of this course, which is the last step before they begin the profession, to know what the expectations of this course are, what the problems they encounter. In the study with action from this thought, science science is aimed at determining what the expectations for the teaching practice course of teachers candidates, the problems they encounter, and the solutions proposals for the problems. In the study, one of the quality research patterns has been used the situation study pattern. The participants of the study are a medium-sized educational faculty in Anatolia's Mathematics and Science Education Department of Science and Science Teaching Program in the fourth class of the 5 men, 14 women and a total of 19 science teachers candidates. As a data collection tool, a semi-configured conversation form consisting of 5 questions has been used. The data is analyzed by content analysis. The study resulted that the teaching practice course contributed positively to the teacher candidates; but the results were revealed as the total duration of the practice course was less. Based on the results obtained from the research, recommendations were made for the development of faculty-school cooperation and for the extension of the application time.
