Kalp Yetersizliği Olan Hastalarda E-sağlık Okuryazarlığının Beslenme Davranışları Üzerine Etkisi

Türkiye’nin doğusunda bulunan bir üniversite hastanesinde yürütülen bu tanımlayıcı tipteki araştırmada e-sağlık okuryazarlığının kalp yetersizlikli hastaların beslenme davranışları üzerine etkisi belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. 127 hasta ile tamamlanan araştırmada bu hastaların e-sağlık okuryazarlık düzeyi ile beslenme davranışları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı; yaş, eğitim durumu, meslek, gelir düzeyi, ikamet yeri, internet kullanım becerisi, günlük internet kullanım süresi, araştırma yöntemi ve sağlık araştırması için internet kullanım süresinin e-sağlık okuryazarlığı için, eğitim düzeyinin ise beslenme davranışları için önemli değişkenler olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu bulgular ışığında; hastaların doğru bilgi kaynaklarını nasıl ayırt edebilecekleri, beslenme kılavuzları ve faydaları konusunda danışmanlık verilmesi ve çalışmanın daha geniş ve farklı gruplarla yürütülmesi önerilebilir.

This type of identifying study conducted at an university hospital in the east of Turkey aims to determine the impact of e-health literature on the nutritional behavior of heart failure patients. The study, which was completed with 127 patients, found that there was no meaningful relationship between the e-health reading level and the nutritional behavior of these patients; age, educational status, profession, income level, residence, internet use skills, daily internet use time, research method and internet use time for health research found that the e-health reading level and the educational level were significant variables for nutritional behavior. In light of these findings, it may be recommended that patients be advised on how to distinguish the right sources of information, nutritional guidelines and benefits, and that the study should be conducted with broader and different groups.

In the study completed with 127 patients, it was found that there was no significant relationship between e-health literacy level and nutritional behaviors of these patients; age, educational status, occupation, income level, place of residence, internet usage skills, daily internet usage time, research method and internet usage time for health research were found to be important variables for e-health literacy and education level was found to be important variables for nutritional behaviors. In the light of these findings, it may be recommended that patients should be counseled on how to distinguish the correct information sources, nutrition guidelines and their benefits, and the study should be conducted with larger and different groups.
