Araştırmanın amacı, yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan ders kitaplarındaki şahsiyetleri tespit etmek, bu şahsiyetlerin ders kitaplarında ne sıklıkla ve ne şekilde işlendiğini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma mataryeli olarak Yedi İklim ve İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe setleri seçilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda her iki setin bütün seviyelerinin toplamında sporcu, sanatçı, yazar, ozan, şair, din adamı, devlet adamı vb. çeşitli kategorilerde olmak üzere 97’si İstanbul 164’ü ise Yedi İklim’de toplam 193 şahsiyete yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. A1, A2, B1 ve B2 seviyelerinde Yedi İklim kitabında şahsiyetlerin veriliş oranı ve veriliş biçimi İstanbul kitabından fazla olsa da C1 ve C2 seviyelerinde her iki kitabın şahsiyetleri veriş oranı birbirine çok yakındır. Şahsiyetlerin veriliş biçimi üzerinden bir değerlendirme yapıldığında ise İstanbul setinde yer alan şahsiyetlerin 66’sına (%64,02) isim olarak yer verilirken, Yedi İklim’de 67’sine (%40,85) isim olarak yer verildiği görülmektedir. Metinde özellikleri verilen şahsiyetlerin oranına bakıldığında ise İstanbul setinde 17 (%16,49), Yedi İklim’de ise 38 (%23,17) şahsiyetin özelliklerine yer verildiği dikkat çekmektedir. Metin bağlamında işlenen şahsiyetlerin oranına bakıldığında ise İstanbul setinde 20 (%19,4), Yedi İklim’de ise 59 (%35,97) şahsiyetin yer aldığı görülmektedir. Her iki çalışma birlikte değerlendirildiğinde ise ilgili setlerde şahsiyetlere sistematik bir yaklaşımla yer verilmediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The purpose of the study is to identify the personalities in the lessons used in the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language, to reveal how often and how these personalities are processed in the lessons. Document analysis is one of the quality research methods used in the study. As a study material, Seven Climate and Istanbul Turkish sets for Foreigners were selected. The research results in the sum of all levels of both sets of athletes, artists, writers, ozans, poets, religious men, state men, etc. In various categories, 97 of Istanbul 164 and Seven Climate have been identified as a total of 193 persons. In Seven Climate Books at levels A1, A2, B1 and B2, the data rate and data form of the personalities are greater than the Istanbul Book, but in levels C1 and C2, the data rate of the personalities of both books is very close to each other. When an assessment is made through the form of data, 66 of the personalities in the Istanbul set are listed as names (64,02) while 67 in the Seven Climates (40,85) are listed as names. If you look at the ratio of personalities given the characteristics in the text, it is important to note that in the set of Istanbul 17 (16.49%) and in the Seven Climate 38 (23.17%) are characteristics included. If you look at the percentage of the personalities processed in the context of the text, it is seen that in the set of Istanbul there are 20 (19,4%), and in the Seven Climate there are 59 (35,97%) personalities. When both studies were evaluated together, the conclusion was that the personalities were not included in the relevant sets with a systematic approach.
