Döviz Kuru Dalgalanmalarının Enflasyon Üzerindeki Geçiş Etkisi: Türkiye Örneği

Bu çalışmada Türkiye için döviz kuru ve enflasyon arasındaki geçiş etkisi 2002:1-2016:4 dönemi aylık veriler dikkate alınarak VAR modeline göre sınanmıştır. Üretici fiyat endeksi, nominal döviz kuru, sanayi üretim endeksi, M1 para arzı ve ham petrol ithal fiyatlarının değişken olarak kullanıldığı modelde elde edilen bulgular, Etki Tepki ve Varyans ayrıştırma analizlerine göre yorumlanmıştır. Etki tepki analizine göre, enflasyonun döviz kuruna gösterdiği tepkinin 16 dönem sonra söndüğü görülmektedir. Varyans ayrıştırma sonuçlarına göre ise enflasyonda meydana gelen değişimin %20’si döviz kuru kaynaklı olurken, bu etkinin ilk dönem ve son dönem arasında değişmediği yani döviz kurunun, enflasyonu kısa ve uzun vadede aynı oranda etkilediği görülmektedir.
