Abstract:

Cyprus island is throughout the history has always been the ultimate part of Anatolian geography not only by social, cultural, demographical, but historical as well. During National Struggle process and during the period in which Turkish people led by Great Atatürk fought the imperialistic powers and the invaders off the country creating a free Turkish Republic, Turkish Cypriots follow all the happenings in Anatolia very closely, and claim that they all follow Mustafa Kemal and his revolutions. The same situation once more comes to the surface when the republican revolutions start showing themselves in the daily life. This study aims to show how strongly Turkish Cypriots seem themselves a part of Anatolia, and how intimately and sincerely they adapt and follow Turkish revolutions on the island
