ÖĞRETMENLERİN MADDE BAĞIMLILIĞINA YÖNELİK FARKINDALIK DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract:

Madde kullanımı günümüzde dünya genelinde görülen, bireyin sosyal ve duygusal etkileşimlerine bağlı olarak içinde bulunduğu zorluklardan kurtulmak için başvurduğu bir yoldur. Ancak bu maddelerin kullanımı bireylerde sosyal, duygusal, fiziksel ve sağlıkla ilgili önemli sorunlar yaşamalarına neden olabilmektedir. Yapılan araştırmalarda özellikle lise dönemlerinde madde kullanımına yönelik eğilimlerin arttığı belirtilmiş, buna bağlı olarak okul ve aile işbirliğinin önemli olduu vurgulanmıştır. Bu bakımdan madde kullanımına bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan madde bağımlılığının önlenmesinde öğretmenlerin farkındalık düzeyleri önemli görülmektedir. Bu araştırmada araştırmada öğretmenlerin madde bağımlılığına yönelik farkındalık düzeylerinin ortaya ‎çıkarılması amaçlanmmıştır. ‎Araştırmada betimsel araştırma modellerinden tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. ‎Araştırmanın evrenini 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Samsun ilinde ortaöğretim kademesinde görev yapan görev yapan ‎öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise evren içerisinden belirlenen ve rasgele ‎olarak araştırmaya dahil edilen 155 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. ‎Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak madde bağımlılığı farkındalık ‎ölçeği kullanılmıştır.‎ Araştırma verilerinin analizinde nicel veri analiz yönemleri kullanılmış, veriler SPSS24 veri analiz programı ile analiz edilmiştir. ‎Araştırmada okul yöneticilerinin madde bağımlılığına yönelik farkındalık düzeylerinin ‎öğretmenlere göre daha yüksek olduğu ve çocuk sayısı arttıkça farkındalık düzeylerinin de arttığı ‎belirlenmiştir. Sosyal hizmet mesleği ve ilgili ‎kurumlar hakkında bilgi sahibi olanların, madde bağımlılığı konusunda eğitim ‎alanların ve okulun bulunduğu mahallede madde bağımlısı ‎birey olduğunu belirtenlerin farkındalık düzeylerinin daha yüksek ‎olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

The use of substance is a way that is now seen throughout the world, and is used to get rid of the difficulties that the individual is in depending on his social and emotional interactions. However, the use of these substances can cause individuals to experience significant social, emotional, physical and health issues. The research has shown that the tendencies towards the use of substances have increased, especially in high school periods, and that therefore the school and family cooperation have been important. In this regard, the level of awareness of teachers is considered important in the prevention of substance dependency arising from the use of the substance. In this study, the aim of the study was to reveal the level of awareness of teachers about substance addiction. In the research, a screening model from visual research models was used. The universe of research is formed by teachers who have a role in the secondary education stage in the province of Samsun in the educational year 2022-2023. The sample of the research is made up of 155 teachers identified within the universe and randomly involved in the research. The research has used the scale of consciousness of substance dependency as a data collection tool. In the analysis of the research data, quantitative data analysis guidelines were used, the data was analyzed with the SPSS24 data analysis program. The study found that school managers’ levels of awareness about substance addiction were higher than teachers, and that the number of children increased and the levels of awareness increased. It has been determined that those who know about the social service profession and the relevant institutions have higher levels of awareness of those who are educated on substance addiction and those who indicate that they are substance addiction individuals in the neighborhood where the school is located.

In the researches, it was stated that the tendencies towards substance use increased especially in high school periods, and accordingly, it was emphasized that the cooperation between school and family is important. In this respect, teachers' awareness levels are considered important in preventing substance addiction due to substance use. In this research, it was aimed to reveal the awareness levels of teachers about substance addiction. In the research, scanning model, one of the descriptive research models, was used. ‎The universe of the research consists of ‎teachers working at secondary education level in Samsun in the 2022-2023 academic year. The sample of the research, on the other hand, consists of 155 teachers determined from the universe and randomly included in the research. ‎Substance addiction awareness ‎Scale ‎was used as a data collection tool in the research.‎ Quantitative data analysis methods were used in the analysis of the research data, and the data were analyzed with the ‎SPSS24 data analysis program. In the study, it was determined that the awareness level of school administrators for substance addiction is higher than that of teachers, and the level of awareness increases as the number of children increases. It has been determined that those who have information about the social work profession and related institutions, those who receive training on substance addiction and those who state that they are a substance addicted individual in the neighborhood where the school is located have higher awareness levels.
