Abstract:

Since 2000, the European Union and the Council of Europe have increasingly emphasized foreign language education and foreign language teachers in their education-related studies in order to their objectives. In the framework programs prepared for this purpose, one of the most fundamental points that foreign language teachers need to focus on in order to gain a certain professional qualification is the return/back notification. Return is one of the most basic tools to determine whether the teaching/learning process has achieved the goal and to complete the measurement-evaluation. The purpose of this study is to obtain the views of teachers candidates who graduate from various faculty that provide foreign language education and who receive pedagogical formation in the educational faculty where teachers are taught during teaching practices on the issues they receive in relation to their activities. Thus, the aim of the teacher candidates is to identify the positive and negative aspects of the experience they have acquired in the subject, and their thoughts and awareness about the subject. For this purpose, a 40 material feedback scale was used. The study’s work group is graduated from a variety of faculties that provide foreign language education outside the educational faculty and forms 133 teachers candidates who are receiving pedagogical formation in a educational faculty in the 2017-2018 academic year. The research data were analyzed using visual statistical techniques, the opinions of the teaching candidates on the rotation were revealed and the distribution of the rotation types and the frequency of rotation they received to teaching practices of the educational formation students who were the foreign language teacher candidates were discussed by the results given in terms of frequency and percentage values.
