Bu çalışma örgütsel desteğin örgütsel özdeşleşme üzerinde etkisinin olup olmadığını tespit amacı ile hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamı, örgütsel destek davranışlarının, örgütsel özdeşleşme duygusu üzerine etkisini belirlemeye yönelik olduğundan etkileşimsel bir model üzerine kurgulanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni Osmaniye ilinde kamu sektöründe kamu hastanesi olarak faaliyet gösteren bir kurumda çalışan yaklaşık 2750 adet kadrolu, sözleşmeli ve hizmet alım personelleri oluşturmaktadır. Uygulama grubunu söz konusu kurumda çalışan 353 personel oluşturmakla birlikte, anket uygulaması yolu ile araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, iki farklı ölçek bir araya getirilerek oluşturulan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Örgütsel özdeşleşme algısını ölçmek için Fettahlıoğlu ve Koca (2015) tarafından yapılan çalışmada kullanılmış olan “Örgütsel Özdeşleşme Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. olup, ölçek 6 önermeden oluşmaktadır. Örgütsel destek algısını ölçmek için ise, Rhoades, Eisenberer ve Armeli (2001) tarafından gerçekleştirilen çalışmada kullanılmış olan “Örgütsel Destek Ölçeği” kullanılmış olup, ölçek 12 önermeden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin istatistiki analizinde SPSS 21.0 programı kullanılmış, söz konusu program ile hipotez testleri için frekans, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Bulgular sonucunda örgütsel destek ile örgütsel özdeşleşme arasında düşük düzeyde istatistiki yönden anlamlı, pozitif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca örgütsel desteğin örgütsel özdeşleşme üzerinde %21 [(ß=,210), (p<0.01) (p:,000)] oranında etkili olabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
