Abstract:

From the past to the present, the secrets that attract interest with metallic flashes and their various effects enter the reduced secret group. As a result of the reduction, the metallic flashes formed on the ceramic surface and the wave color transitions give artistic appearances. In recent period, the metal secrets and printed shells are studied, but it is seen that metal special printing materials, granules and special secrets are used, and the metal effect can be achieved by oxidative cooking. This study aims to develop metallic secret compositions with different effects with oxidated cooking and determine the effects of different raw materials on metallic secret appearances. Basically, the secret recipes were created on the overoxide-sodium feldspat-quvars triple system, and the recipes were used as addition to copper oxide for the creation of the metallic effect. Additional raw ingredients of borac and sulyene (Pb3O4) were also made to certain compounds selected among the recipes and the effects on the metal secret appearances were determined. In this direction, the metal secret mixture prepared in the laboratory environment was cooked at 1100°C and 1200°C in 7 hours of processes. The recipes of the secret cooking samples obtained were used on three-dimensional forms and analysed by photographing.
