Çalışmada Türkiye’de koruyucu aile uygulaması ile ilgili yapılmış lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesi, yapılan çalışmaların yapıldığı yıl, tez türü, üniversite, enstitü, araştırma modeli, araştırma türü ve konusunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırma tarama modelinde olup betimsel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak epistemolojik doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışmaya 1977 yılından bu yana Türkiye’de yapılmış ve Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu Ulusal Tez Merkezi internet sitesinden “koruyucu aile” anahtar kelimesi ile taranarak tam metnine ulaşılabilen lisansüstü tezler dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler incelendiğinde 1977 yılından bu yana yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin büyük çoğunluğunun yüksek lisans tezi olduğu, farklı üniversite ve enstitülerde çalışmaların yapıldığı, araştırmaların daha çok tarama türünde olduğu, deneysel çalışmalara çok az yer verildiği ve en çok sosyal hizmetler konusunda tez çalışmalarının yapıldığı görülmüştür.
The study aimed at the study of graduate theses made in Turkey related to the protection family application, the year in which the studies were made, the type of thesis, the university, the institute, the research model, the type of research and the subject. This research is in the screening model and used in the visual method. The study used epistemological document analysis as a method of data collection. For this purpose, the study has been carried out in Turkey since 1977 and has been included undergraduate theses that can be accessed to the full text by scanning the keyword "protectional family" from the Higher Education Institute's National Thesis Center's website. When the data obtained from the research was studied, the majority of the postgraduate theses made since 1977 were master theses, the studies were conducted at different universities and institutions, the research was more in the type of scan, the experimental studies were given very little space, and the thesis studies were conducted mostly on social services.
