Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the spread use of addictive substances by teachers of physical education, their attitudes towards addictive substances and individuals using addictive substances, gender, age, economic situation, parent education, knowledge and testing of addictive substances according to variables. The universe of research is composed of 412 body education teachers who are active in the Mardin province during the 2018-2019 training/learning period. The sample of the study is composed of 218 body training teachers identified using the visual research method from the survey (suching) model by random selection from the universe. To identify the demographic characteristics of participants, the 'Personal Information Form' was used to identify their attitudes towards addictive substances, while the liquid type 'Addictive Addictive Substances Attitude Measure' was provided by Tansel (2006) for validity and reliability. As a result of the teaching of the sample group, many dependent variants did not make a meaningful difference. According to the findings of the study, teachers’ attitudes towards individuals who use addictive substances, the presence in the environments where addictive substances are used, the condition of the individual who uses addictive substances in the family and the mother’s educational status have found significant differences. The age, gender, income status, working year variables have not been found significantly different.
