İslam’ın VII. asırda Orta Asya’ya girmeye başlaması, bölgede siyasi, askeri, ekonomik, sosyokültürel, etnik ve dini çok yönlü değişimlerin yaşanmasına sebep oldu. Özellikle diğer din mensuplarının fetihler karşısındaki tavırları, tercih ettikleri yeni sosyal düzen içerisindeki konumları, aynı zamanda bölgede hakimiyeti ele alan yeni sistemin siyasi ve askeri politikaları yanında dini yaklaşımları söz konusu farklı inanç gruplarının bölgedeki kaderine tesir eden etmenler olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Fetihler akabinde bölgede tesis edilen müslüman idaresi, şehrin/bölgenin sulh veya savaş yoluyla fethedilmesine bağlı olarak farklı uygulamalara tabi tuttular. Bu, aynı zamanda bağlı oldukları din olan islamın hukuki bir gerekliliği idi. Bazı istisnalar dışında genel olarak fethedilen topraklar üzerindeki halkın dini inançlarına dair herhangi bir müdahale olmamış, sadece mali anlamda haraç ve cizye ödemekle mükellef tutulmuşlardır. Buna ilave olarak, sulh yoluyla itaat altına alınan yerlerde halkın sahip olduğu mal, mülk, ticari haklar ve menfaatler kendilerinde bırakılmış, dini ve mezhebi kisve altında yönetime isyan hareketlerine karışanlar dışında, ibadethanelerine dokunulmamış ve misyonerlik yapmalarına engel olunmamıştır. Çalışmada, ana kaynaklara ulaşarak Nasturilerin tarihini tespit etme gibi bir gaye güdülmemektedir. Bu bağlamda, çalışma kapsamında yukarıda bahsettiğimiz etkileri de görmemize yardım edeceğini düşündüğümüz, Nasturîlik’in İslam’ın bölgeye girdiği yüzyıllardaki durumu, fetihler karşısındaki konumu, yeni düzen içerisindeki yeri ve tarihi gelişimi hakkında birtakım tespitlere yer verilecektir.
The beginning of the penatration of Islam into Central Asia in VII. century caused political, military, economic, sociocultural, ethnic and religious changes in the region. In particular, the attitudes of the members of other religions toward müslim conquests, and their positions in the new social order they prefered, and the political and military policy of the new system which deals with dominance in the region at the same time, as well as the religious approaches are all the factors which affected the fate of these different groups of beliefs. Following the conquests, the Muslim administration, which was established in the region, subjected different practices depending on the conquest of the city/region by peace or war. This was also a legal necessity of Islam, the religion to which they were attached. With some exceptions, there were no interference with the religious beliefs of the people over the conquered lands in general, and they were only obliged to pay tribute (kharac) and poll tax (jizya). In addition, places where people were obeyed by peace (sulh) left their property, commercial rights and interests untouched, also their sanctuaries were untouched and they were not prevented from doing missionary work except those involved in a revolt against the rule. The study does not aim to determine the history of the Nestorians by reaching the main sources. In this context, a number of determinations about the status of Nestourians in the centuries when Islam entered the region, and its position against müslim conquests, and its place and historical development in the new order which will help us to see the effects mentioned above will be given within the scope of the article.
