Öğretmen Adaylarının Çatışma Eylem Stillerinin Duygusal Öz-yeterlik Düzeylerine Göre İncelenmesi

Araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının çatışma eylem stilleri ve duygusal öz-yeterlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek, çatışma eylem stillerinin ve duygusal öz-yeterliklerinin cinsiyetlerine, sınıf düzeylerine, lisans programında okudukları bölümlere göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılaşma olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evreni 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında lisans eğitimine devam etmekte olan öğretmen adayları tarafından oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılar Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Buca Eğitim Fakültesinde lisans eğitimine devam eden lisans yerleştirmelerine göre PDR bölümü, sayısal, sözel, güzel sanatlar ve yabancı dil alanlarındaki toplam 300 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında, Duygusal Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği (DÖYÖ), Çatışma Eylem Stilleri Ölçeği (ÇESÖ) ve araştırmacının hazırladığı Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğinin belirlenmesi için çarpıklık-basıklık analizi sonuçları incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda verileri analiz etmek amacıyla Bağımsız İki Örnek T Testi ve Tek Yönlü ANOVA analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularının anlamlılık düzeyini incelemek için .05 anlamlılık düzeyi ölçüt olarak belirlenmiştir. Korelasyon analizi için ise Pearson Korelasyon tekniği kullanılmıştır. Duygusal öz-yeterliğin çatışma eylem stillerini ne kadar yordadığını belirlemek amacıyla değişkenler arasında doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, öğrenmen adaylarının çatışma eylem stilleri ile duygusal öz-yeterlikleri arasında anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. Duyguları düzenleme puanları ile zorlayıcı, kolaylaştırıcı, uzlaştırmacı, karşı koyucu çatışma eylem stillerinin arasında olumlu yönde ve anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal öz-yeterliğin kaçınmacı çatışma eylem stiline etkisine dair çoklu regresyon analizi çıktılarına göre; duygusal öz-yeterlik alt boyutları; zorlayıcı çatışma eylem stilindeki değişimin yaklaşık %7’sini, kolaylaştırıcı çatışma eylem stilindeki değişimin yaklaşık %17’sini, uzlaştırmacı çatışma eylem stilindeki değişimin yaklaşık %15’ini, karşı koyucu çatışma eylem stilindeki değişimin yaklaşık %15’ini açıkladığı bulunmuştur.

Teachers' Candidates' Conflict Action Styles Examination According To Emotional Self-capacity Levels

Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to study the relationship between the conflict action styles and emotional self-sufficiency levels of teachers candidates, to determine whether conflict action styles and emotional self-sufficiency have statistically meaningful differences according to gender, class levels, the sections they read in the bachelor's program. The universe of research consists of teachers candidates who are continuing their bachelor’s education in the 2018-2019 educational year. According to the participant’s continuing bachelor’s training in the 9th September University Buca Education Faculty, the PDR department has formed a total of 300 students in the fields of numerical, verbal, beautiful arts and foreign language. In the collection of data, the Emotional Self-Capacity Scale (DEA), the Scale of Conflict Actions Styles (CESO) and the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used. Confusion-pressure analysis results have been studied to determine whether the data shows normal distribution. To analyze the data in this direction, independent two examples test and one-way ANOVA analyses have been implemented. The .05 level of significance is determined as a measure to study the level of significance of the research findings. For the analysis of correlation, the Pearson Correlation technique was used. The linear regression analysis between the variables was conducted in order to determine how much emotional self-sufficiency implies conflicting style of action. As a result of the study, a meaningful relationship between student candidates’ conflicting behavior styles and their emotional self-capacity has been established. Emotion regulation points have found a positive and meaningful relationship between compelling, facilitating, reconciliating, opposition conflict style of action. Multi-regression analysis of the impact of emotional self-sufficiency on the preventive conflict style of action found that emotional self-sufficiency subdimensions revealed about 7% of the change in the compulsory conflict style of action, about 17% of the change in the facilitating conflict style of action, about 15% of the change in the reconciling conflict style of action, and about 15% of the change in the conflict style of action.

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between pre-service teachers' conflict-action styles and emotional self-efficacy levels, and to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference between the levels of conflict action styles and emotional self-efficacy in terms of gender, class level, and the part they study in the undergraduate program. The population of the study consists of prospective teachers who continue their undergraduate education in the academic year 2018-2019. The participants of the study consisted of 300 undergraduate students in Dokuz Eylül University, Buca Faculty of Education. The PDR department consisted of 300 students in the fields of numerical, verbal, fine arts and foreign languages. Emotional Self-Efficacy Scale (SCES), Conflict Action Styles Scale (SPES) and Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used for data collection. To determine whether the data show normal distribution, the results of the skewness-baseline analysis were examined. In this direction, Independent Two Sample T Test and One-Way ANOVA analysis were used to analyze the data.The significance level of .05 was used to evaluate whether the findings were meaningful or not. For correlation analysis, Pearson Correlation technique was used. Linear regression analysis was conducted between variables to determine how emotional self-efficacy predicts conflict action styles.As a result of the study, a significant relationship was found between the trait action styles and emotional self-efficacy of paticipants. A positive and significant relationship was found between the level of regulating emotions and the level of coercive, facilitating, conciliatory, antagonistic conflict styles of action. According to the results of multiple regression analysis of the effect of emotional self-efficacy on the style of avoidant conflict action; emotional self-efficacy sub-dimensions; It was found that approximately 7% of the change in the style of coercive conflict action, approximately 17% of the change in the style of facilitating conflict action, 15% of the change in the conciliatory conflict style of action, and 15% of the change in the conflict style of action can be predicted by emotional self-efficacy levels of teacher trainees .
