Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Sağlıklı Yaşam Biçimi Davranışlarının İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Araştırmamızın amacı, Akdeniz üniversitesinde öğrenim gören, yaş ortalamaları 22,15±2,22 olan fiziksel aktiviteye katılımın yoğun olduğu beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulu öğrencileri (n216) ile teorik eğitimin yoğunlukta olduğu hukuk fakültesi öğrencilerinin (n184) sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışlarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu çalışma amacına göre tanımlayıcı, verilerin toplanış yöntemine göre anket çalışması, verilerin toplanma zamanına göre ise kesitsel bir araştırma olarak tasarlanmıştır. Sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışlarının ölçüm yöntemi 6 alt boyuttan oluşur. Bunlar; kendini gerçekleştirme, sağlık sorumluluğu, egzersiz, beslenme, kişilerarası uyum, stres yönetimidir. Tarama modeliyle gerçekleştirilen araştırmamızın anketi 52 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışları anketi Walker ve ark. (1987) tarafından, sağlığı teşvik edici yaşam tarzının kalıplarını ve belirleyicilerini ve aynı zamanda yaşam tarzını değiştirmeye yönelik müdahalelerin etkilerini araştırmasını sağlamak üzere geliştirilmiştir Ölçeğin, Türkiye’de geçerlik ve güvenirliği Bahar ve arkadaşları tarafından 2008 yılında yapılarak ölçek Türkçeye uyarlanmıştır. Araştırmada, verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistik yöntemleri olarak frekans (%), aritmetik ortalama (X) ve standart sapma (Ss) kullanılmıştır. Farklığı tespit etmek amacıyla; Mann-Whitney U ve One Way Anova Testleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışları ölçek puanı 142,61±18,02 dir. Hukuk fakültesi öğrencilerinin ölçek puanı 133,99±19,00 dir. Beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışları ölçek puanı istatistiksel olarak yüksek anlamlılık düzeyinde olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Kendini gerçekleştirme, sağlık sorumluluğu, kişilerarası destek ve egzersiz alt boyutlarında anlamlı farka rastlanmıştır, beslenme ve stres yönetimi alt boyutlarında anlamlı farka rastlanmamıştır.

Abstract:

The aim of our research is to compare the behavior of the healthy lifestyle of the law faculty (n184) with the body education and sports high school students (n216) with the study of the Mediterranean University, where the age average is 22.15±2.22, where the physical activity is intense. According to the purpose of this study, the identifier, according to the method of data collection, the survey work, according to the time of data collection, is designed as a cutting-edge research. The method of measuring healthy lifestyle behaviors consists of 6 subdimensions. These are self-realization, health responsibility, exercise, nutrition, interpersonal harmony, stress management. The survey of the scan model consists of 52 questions. Healthy lifestyle behaviors survey Walker and Ark. It was developed by (1987) to ensure the study of the patterns and determinants of the lifestyle promoting health and the effects of interventions aimed at changing the lifestyle.The scale, validity and reliability in Turkey was made in 2008 by Spring and its friends. The study used frequency (%), arithmetic average (X) and standard deviation (Ss) as visual statistical methods in data analysis. To identify the difference, Mann-Whitney U and One Way Anova Tests were used. The results were evaluated at 0.05 level of significance. The scale score of healthy lifestyle behavior of body education and sports high school students is 142.61±18,02. The scale score of the law faculty students is 133.99±19,00 . The scale score of healthy lifestyle behavior of body education and sports high school students has been statistically determined to be high in significance (p<0,05). There have been significant differences in the subdimensions of self-execution, health responsibility, interpersonal support and exercise, no significant differences in the subdimensions of nutrition and stress management have been found.

The aim of this study was to compare the healthy lifestyle behaviours of the students of the school of physical education and sports (n216), whose physical activity participation are high, and the students of the faculty of law (n184), who are in mostly a theoretical curriculum. In accordance with the purpose of this study, this study was designed as a descriptive study according to the purpose of it, a survey study according to the method of data collection, and a cross-sectional research according to the time of collection of data. The method of measuring healthy lifestyle behaviors consists of 6 sub-dimensions. These are self-efficacy, health responsibility, exercise, nutrition, Interpersonal Relationship and stress management. The Healthy Lifestyle Behavior Scale (HLBS), consisted of 52 questions and developed by Walker et al. (1987), aims to determine the patterns and determinants of health-promoting lifestyle and the effects of interventions aimed at changing the lifestyle. The reliability and validity of the scale in Turkey was made in 2008 by Bahar et al. to adapt it into Turkish. In the research, frequency (%), arithmetic mean (X) and standard deviation (SD) were used as descriptive statistical methods. In order to determine the difference, Mann-Whitney U and One Way Anova Tests were used. Significance level was set at 0.05. The HLBS mean score of the students of the school of physical education and sports is 142,61 ±18,02. On the other hand, the HLBS mean score of the faculty of law students is 133,99± 19,00. It was determined that the HLBS scores of the students of the school of physical education and sports were statistically significant (p <0.05). While significant differences were found in self-efficacy, health responsibility, interpersonal support and exercise sub-dimensions, there were no significant differences in nutrition and stress management sub-dimensions.
