Öğretmen yetiştirmede öğretmen adaylarının alan bilgisi, genel kültür bilgisi ve öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi alanlarında eğitilmeleri beklenmektedir. Bugün ülkemizde eğitim fakültelerine devam eden öğretmen adayları meslek bilgisi derslerini fakültedeki öğrenim süreci içerisinde alırken eğitim fakültesi dışındaki fakültelerinden mezun bireylere bu eğitim pedagojik formasyon kursu adı altında iki dönem içerisinde sunulmaktadır. Verilen pedagojik formasyon eğitimlerinin niteliği ve öğretmen adaylarında bıraktıkları izler, üzerinde çalışılması gereken bir durum olarak görüldüğünden böyle bir çalışmaya ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı (TDE) öğretmen adaylarının pedagojik formasyon eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı bu araştırmada, olgubilim deseni dikkate alınmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında, Fırat Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde Pedagojik Formasyon Programına kayıtlı Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesine göre belirlenmiştir Araştırmanın verileri açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan bir görüşme formuyla toplanmıştır. Bu formda TDE öğretmen adaylarını pedagojik formasyon eğitimi boyunca yaşadıkları olumlu ve olumsuz durumları, pedagojik formasyon eğitiminin TDE öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik bakış açılarında meydana getirdiği değişiklikleri, daha etkili bir pedagojik formasyon eğitimine ilişkin TDE öğretmen adaylarının görüş ve önerilerini ve TDE öğretmen adaylarının Açık Öğretim Fakültesi Edebiyat Bölümü mezunlarının pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alabilmelerine ilişkin düşünceleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
Prospective teachers are expected to be trained in the knowledge of the subject-field, general culture and in the teaching profession. While prospective teachers from Faculty of Education get teaching profession courses during their education, the prospective teachers graduated from other faculties are offered in two semesters under the name of pedagogical formation training courses. Pedagogical formation training courses and their effects on prospective teachers seem to be an area that must be studied. The aim of this study was to determine the opinion of prospective Turkish Language and Literature teachers about pedagogical formation training course. The phenomenology pattern was used in this qualitative research method based study. The study group consisted of prospective Turkish Language and Literature teachers who were offered pedagogical formation training course at Faculty of Education at Fırat University during 2014-2015 academic year. The study group was selected based on the convenient sampling technique. The research data were collected through an interview form consisting of open-ended questions. It was aimed to determine positive and negative situations encountered during pedagogical formation training course, the changes in opinions of prospective Turkish Language and Literature teachers about teaching profession after pedagogical formation training course It was also aimed to find out the ideas and suggestions of prospective Turkish Language and Literature teachers about how a more effective pedagogical formation training can be realized. Prospective teachers’ views about offering pedagogical formation courses to those who graduated from Open University were also determined.
