Bu çalışmanın amacı, araştırmacı tarafından uygulanan Grup Rehberliği Programı’nın 6 yaş grubu (60-72 ay) okul öncesi eğitim alan çocukların ilişkisel ve fiziksel saldırganlık davranışları üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmada ön-test, son-test ve izleme testi kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, Ankara ili Etimesgut ilçesindeki bir okulun anasınıfı öğrencilerinin katılımı ile 2014-2015 eğitim öğretim yılında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada ailelerinden izin alınarak anasınıfına devam eden 19 deney ve 19 kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 38 çocukla çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada öntest, sontest ve izleme testi kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler Okul Öncesi Sosyal Davranış Ölçeği-Öğretmen Formu ve Çocuk Bilgi Formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS programından yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde Mann Whitney U testi ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, deney ve kontrol gruplarının sontest puanları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, deney grubundaki bireylerin ölçekten aldıkları deney öncesi ve deney sonrası puanları arasında manidar bir fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Deney grubuna uygulanan Grup Rehberliği Programı’nın kalıcılığının uygulamadan üç ay sonra da devam ettiği görülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular, deney grubuna uygulanan programın katılımcıların ilişkisel ve fiziksel saldırganlık düzeylerinde azalmaya neden olduğunu ve bu etkinin kalıcılığının üç ay sonra yapılan izleme ölçümlerinde korunduğunu göstermektedir. Kontrol ve plasebo gruplarının sontest ve izleme testi puanları arasında ise anlamlı bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Sonuç bölümünde de çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular ışığında alandaki uygulayıcılara ve araştırmacılara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the Group Counseling Program which was developed by the researcher on relational and physical aggression of the six years (60-72 month) preschool children. The study was carried out with students of a preschools’ six years (60-72 month) children in the Etimesgut town of Ankara during the 2014-2015 academic years. This research was conducted with 38 children at the 6 age in pre-school, consisting of 2 groups as the control group (19) and the experimental group (19) by getting permission from their parents. Experimental design with one experimental and one control group with three measurements was used in this research. The data used in this study was obtained using Preschool Behavior Scale - Teacher Form (PSBS-TF) and Child Information Form (CIF). Mann Whitney U, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Tests, and descriptive analysis techniques were used to analyze the data. The results of the study revealed that there was a significant difference between post-tests of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group. Also, there was a significant improvement in the experimental group from pre to posttest. It can be concluded that the Group Counseling Program reduce relational and physical aggression level of the children who are attending experimental group. Besides, no significant difference was determined between the post test and follow-up scores of the participants included in the experimental group in the Preschool Behavior Scale - Teacher Form (PSBS-TF). Thus, the Group Counseling Program applied on the experimental group was understood to have permanent effects on relational and physical aggression. On the other hand, when the data from the control group were analyzed, no significant difference was found between the pre-test and post-test mean scores for the measured scales. The findings of this research were discussed in the light of the literature. The last part of the study, some recommendations and suggestions were presented for the counseling practices and researchers in the light of findings.
