Cahit Zarifoğlu’nun Şiirlerinde Tasavvufun Görünüm Biçimleri

Cahit Zarifoğlu (1940-1987) modern Türk edebiyatının kilometre taşlarından biridir. İlk edebi ürünlerini lise yıllarında vermeye başlayan sanatçı, şiir, öykü, günlük, roman, edebi deneme, masal ve tiyatro gibi birçok türde eser vermiştir. Bununla birlikte o, daha ziyade şairliğiyle temayüz etmiş bir isimdir. Toplam dört şiir kitabı yayımlamış olan Zarifoğlu, şiirlerinde benlik, varoluş sorunu, doğu-batı çatışması, aşk, aile ve modernleşmenin birey üzerinde yarattığı tahribat gibi birçok konuyu etraflıca ele almıştır. Bu geniş tematik yelpaze içinde dikkat çeken konulardan biri de tasavvuftur. Cahit Zarifoğlu’nun yaşam öyküsü gözden geçirildiğinde onun, dini-tasavvufi geleneklerin sımsıkı korunduğu ve yaşatıldığı bir ailede yetiştiği fark edilir. Buna ilaveten şair, 1977 yılında Nakşî meşâyıhından bir mürşide intisap ederek tasavvufî pratikleri hayatına geçirmeye başlamıştır. Yakın dostları, bu tarihten itibaren farklı bir Cahit Zarifoğlu portresi ile karşı karşıya olduklarını vurgulamışlardır. Bütün bu zihni ve fikri dönüşümler, sanatçının ortaya koyduğu edebi ürünlerin içeriğini, dilini, hatta üslup ve teknik yapısını önemli ölçüde etkilemiştir. Özellikle Menziller ile Korku ve Yakarış başlıkları altında toplanan şiir metinleri, içlerinde, tasavvufi eğilimlerin bakış açılarından ve kelime örüntülerinden sayısız iz barındırırlar. Sanatçının yaşadığı içsel dönüşüm ile hâller özellikle “Özgürlüğe Doğru”, “Kayıt”, “Kabul”, “Ayna”, “İkinci Ayna”, “Menziller”, “Korku ve Yakarış”, “Zahmet Vakti”, “Başım Eğik Dilim Kapalı Gözler Kançanağı Anlamında” başlıklı şiirlerinde oldukça yoğun bir şekilde göze çarpar. Bu makalede Zarifoğlu’nun bu açıdan dikkat çeken şiirleri mercek altına alınacaktır.

Cahit Zarifoğlu (1940-1987) is one of the kilometres of modern Turkish literature. The artist, who began giving his first literary products in his high school years, has given many kinds of works, such as poetry, story, daily, novel, literary experimentation, fairy tale and theatre. But he is a poet who has a poetry name. Zarifoğlu, who has published a total of four poems, has discussed many subjects in his poems, such as self, the problem of existence, the East-West conflict, love, family and the destruction that modernization creates on the individual. One of the topics that attract attention in this wide range of themes is tasavvuft. When the life story of Cahit Zarifoğlu is reviewed, it is noticed that he grew up in a family where religious-tasavvufi traditions are strictly preserved and lived. In addition to this, the poet, in 1977, began to pass the tasavvufî practices into his life by enthusiasming from the Nakşî meşâhâhâhâhâhâhâh. Their close friends have emphasized that they have met from this date with a different Cahit Zarifoğlu portrait. All these mental and intellectual transformations have significantly influenced the content, language, and even the style and technical structure of the literary products the artist has presented. Specifically, the poem texts gathered under the titles of Menziller and Fear and Fear, in them contain countless traces from the perspectives of tasavvufi trends and word patterns. With the inner transformation the artist has experienced, the circumstances are very intense especially in his poems titled “Right to Freedom”, “Register”, “Acceptance”, “Ayna”, “Second Mirror”, “Menziller”, “Fear and Burning”, “Zahmet Time”, “Head Curved Language In the Meaning of Closed Eyes”. In this article, the poems of Zarifoğlu that attract attention from this point of view will be taken into account.
