Abstract:

The article discusses three different translations of the work in Turkish with the work entitled Trois Contes published by the famous French writer Gustave Flaubert in 1877. The translation of our language by different years and by different translators gives us the opportunity to do a diverse and multi-purpose work. In our work, this work is intended to be studied in the theory and strategy of Gideon Toury's Erek-Focused Translation Approach. The relationship between the sentences in the source text and the responses in the translation text was assessed in the framework of translation strategies and Gideon Toury’s man-oriented translation approach. In the research findings section, pre-process standards, translation process standards and the trial of the work called Three Stories were performed. According to the findings obtained in the study, three different translations have been shown to benefit from the localization (localization), adding, extracting (shaking), borrowing, changing and interpreting strategies in the translation texts. As a result, when the source text is assessed from the closest (from sufficient translation) to the distant (acceptable translation), in other words, according to the close proximity of the male text, we can say that the three translations are one translation to the acceptable extent due to the close proximity of the male language and culture. It is believed that this study will be an important source for other studies in the field of comparison of the original text with its translations.
