İl, ilçe, bucak gibi yerleşim yerlerinde sokakların bakımı, temizlik, aydınlatma, su, esnafın denetimi gibi kamu hizmetlerini gören ve yerel yönetimlerde önemli bir rol oynayan belediyeler Türkiye’de, özellikle seçim yoluyla başa gelen başkanları vesilesiyle, bölge halkları için oldukça büyük önem teşkil eder. Halkın her türlü sosyal ihtiyacına da cevap verebilme yetisi olan belediyeler bünyesinde halkı bir takım hobi uğraşlarına teşvik etme amaçlı güzel sanatlar eğitimi veren atölyeler de açılabilir. Bu atölyelerden bazılarında seramik çalışmaları da yapılmaktadır. Bunların en güzel örneklerinden biri de Çanakkale iline bağlı Kepez Belediyesi’nin seramik atölyesidir. Kepez Belediyesi önderliğinde 2012 yılından beri Çanakkale halkına hizmet sunan bir seramik atölyesi örneği olarak Balık Park Seramik Atölyesi incelenmiştir. 2012 yılından bu yana atölye kapsamında yapılan çalışmaları, verilen kursları incelemiş, bunların halka ve belediyeye katkısı üzerinde durulmuştur. Bir örnek mekân ve olgu incelemesi olarak literatürde yer bulması ve seramik atölyeciliği yapacak belediyelere örnek olması amaçlanmıştır
Municipalities that see public services such as the care of the streets, the cleaning, the lighting, the water, the supervision of the trade and play an important role in local governments in Turkey, especially on the occasion of the presidents who deal with by means of elections, are of great importance for the people of the region. In the municipalities, which are able to respond to all kinds of social needs, workshops can also be opened for the purpose of educating the people into a series of hobbies. Some of these workshops are also performed in ceramics. One of these examples is the Ceramic Workshop of the Kepez Municipality connected to the Çanakkale province. At the headquarters of the Kepez Municipality, the Fish Park Ceramic Workshop has been studied as an example of a ceramic workshop that has served the people of Çanakkale since 2012. Since 2012, the workshops have been conducted in the framework of the workshop, they have studied the courses given, their contribution to the public and the municipality. An example of the location and the fact study is intended to be an example for the municipalities to find a place in literature and to do ceramic workshops.

Under the leadership of the Municipality of Kepez, since 2012, as an example of a ceramic workshop serving the people of Çanakkale, we have examined the Balık Park Ceramics Workshop. Since 2012, the workshop has been conducted, the courses examined, their contribution to the public and the municipality was emphasized. It is aimed to be an example for the municipalities which will perform ceramic workshop as an example place and case study
