Abstract:

The aim of this study is to examine the views of physics teacher candidates on the teaching practice course. The research was carried out with 10 physician teachers candidates who have given the teaching practice course in the Physical Teaching Department of the Geokalp School of Education. The research has used a semi-configured conversation technique as a data collection tool. The data obtained from the study is evaluated by content analysis technique. At the end of the study, the teaching candidates stated that the teaching practice course, the KPSS (Public Staff Selection Exam) and graduation concerns were not given in the final class, this course should be given in a balanced way within the training and teaching program throughout the degree period. Also, the teaching candidates who participated in the research stated that they want to be more in the center in the practical schools they go, so the enrichment of the practices, that the units and persons related to this course should be more active, that the courses of physics given in the educational faculty should be parallel to the curriculum given in high school.
